      i know this is a one year old comment, and I am not against anyone, but a lot of times people think dancer is just will be end up as a back up dancer, but there are so many competitions for professional dancers for example Just Debout and make names in the industry by winning a lot of competitions, dancing, choreographing and etc. Maybe one day one day, every dancers can be finally like the performers in EXILE TRIBE where they aren't even only a backup dancers and needed to be forced to sing too like most dancing idols did. But is being placed at the same spotlight as the vocalists (like Sandaime J Soul Brothers From EXILE TRIBE for example, Naoki, Naoto, Elly, Gunchan, Kenjiro everyone is coming from underground and even trainers but now is a celebrity themselves shining as much as the vocalists Ryuji and Omi) as a performer, as a dancer. So yeah hope his career goes a long way.

    As someone who goes this path (animation, game Design and so on) this video hits different. I needed to put so much work to get my family accept my decision too. Many people think that job like these are bad, doesn't pay well and sometimes it's TRUE but again; knowing you can be part of a huge creation which will entertain, maybe touch, give happiness, it really makes you feel warm and dizzy inside. I'm happy I made my choice and went with this path. It's fun, never boring and the opportunity to use your imagination just creates all diffrent perspective of life. Maybe some people wont see this comment but I hope everyone gets to do things their hearts want. Maybe after a while you will stop enjoying that special thing; don't be afraid. Life is long, you will have so many interesting moments and maybe you will find new things to love. Dont be afraid to make mistakes and dont listen to others. Stay true yourself and your heart :) Hope this helps anyone with similar issues.

I was so set on that goal and didn’t bother looking further into other fields of study. I recently finished highschool and during summer I realized I wanted to go into the medical field rather than business, not only because it’s better pay, but also because the job is much more stable and your almost guaranteed a job. Whilst business is uncertain, especially because so many students go into business in my city. Anyways all in all, people change their minds once they get older.

    Bestowing some random acts of kindness is what the world needs more. If you see a stranger having a hard time, help out, if there's something you can do, try and do it. The other day I was sitting in the bus and the bus driver's airco was broken so it was really hot where he was sitting. I had just been to the shops and was on my way home and I gave him a popsicle that I had just bought. It was only a small thing but I could tell how much it meant to him.

      You are still so young. Take your time and after college try different jobs out. How should you know what you want when you don't even know yourself properly?
      There is no rule that you have to work the first job you get till you retire, especially if it doesn't make you happy. Try to find fulfillment in the job you will have because success without fulfillment is a fail.

    • @sidesideful
      @sidesideful 6 лет назад

      It's hard to figure out what you want to do when your world is still so small and limited to hs. Don't focus so far into the future. Don't focus on your college years, bc your not there yet. Don't focus on picking one solid career in your future (doing that will stress you out, you will be focusing on the wrong thing). Don't focus on the potential of your interests. Do focus on being in tune with ourselves. Figuring out our beliefs, our morals, our personality; finding out exactly who we are. However, we can't find that out solely by thinking of the things we might be slightly interested in. We have to actively learn about ourselves, our likes and dislikes. Wait til the first yr of college. Seriously, take that yr to explore, bc that is the time to learn and grow. If we fear something, we need to do that more bc it really really does get easier. Lastly, don't stop doing something. If you are doing nothing, then that's why it's hard to learn about yourself bc there is nothing to base it on. You need life experiences, whether that be work, class, or volunteering in order to shape who you are / want to become. It's okay to sit and wonder for now, but remind yourself to do something about it. So yeah, go take that class, or go get that job and learn what kind of environment you work in. Once you've learned that about yourself, you will eventually find your drive to want to do something with your life. The drive is the last step, it comes after all of this exploring and life experience. It doesn't come first. ..Well, sometimes it does, for a few. But for those who are don't know, I think this would be good advice. Thanks for reading lol

    This has to be one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a while, so simple, yet so much meaning in it, I think deep inside we all want to help, and seeing someone reach out to us, someone with pure concern for someone he or she cares about, very often brings the best in us, and interesting enough, we also learn a lot from those questions most of the times, so why not give our best!

    I think tuition is pretty expensive in South Korea, around 7,000 USD per year on average. I think the last lady gave some good advice on viewing his son as a reflection of his younger self. My advice would be to encourage his interest in animation, but let him know that you expect him to get good grades in school. Once he´s out of high-school he can make that decision for himself, but if there´s anything I have learned, it´s that you shouldn´t be closing any doors behind yourself. Follow your dreams when you´re young, but if that doesn´t work out, at some point you have to be content with what you have. Happiness doesn´t come from a certain career path, it comes from many different sources in your life. Ultimately, his son has to analyze the risks involved and see whether or not he will be able to live with the potential consequences of his decision.

    By my point of view a Father should belive in his son, whatever he choses to do in his life.
    But I must say something about those people, every time I see a video like this I'm very happy about the things people say.
    Keep up the good work.
    May Allah / God send blessings and peace upon you all.

    This is happen to me, my mother really didn't want me get into art school ( because it's expensive and not easily to get stable job). she wanted me to be a doctor, simply because i like biology and doctor really easy to get money.
    But i love art and animation. We had a big fight for 2 weeks. She end up bargaining with me. AND I WON.
    I get into art school, i really work hard. Even it is hard, i really happy😊.
    Now she said she's really proud of me, because i get job easily and have great salary every month for fresh graduate. She said that it's not bad to trust her daughter once.
    - i hope all of you understand, sorry for my bad english.

    Ask your kid what he wants to do. Ask him if he understands the consequences of doing it. If he has a realistic understanding of the consequences and he still wants to go through with it, then let him. It means he knows what he's getting himself into but he wants to try it anyway. It means that much to him.
    If he doesn't have a realistic understanding of the consequences of his actions, then encourage him to look more into it first. Don't dissuade him, but instead let him make his own decisions and his own mistakes.

    Hi guys.I also need some advice for this same question. I know someone who is studying in college and wants to become a youtuber; his grades are falling..he is not focusing on studying..his family wants him to study well (naturally) for his future and thinks RUclips is waste of time..which has resulted in a pretty big fight many times..he hates his family now and I don't know what to do. And he is not ready to go to a counsellor..what to do?

    • @pinkierina1
      @pinkierina1 6 лет назад +55

      jasmine gupta tell him to weigh the pros and cons. Realistically unless his RUclips content is interesting and all of a sudden blows up, a RUclips career could go down hill. I mean it doesn’t work for everybody so if he is certain that he wants to pursue it then let him and if t works out then great but if it doesn’t it’s never too late to go back to studying but he would probably have to pay for that depending on how old he is. TBH he could also study now and do RUclips after

      All carreers doesn't have certain future so it's important to do what we are passionate about. But most importantly he should finish high school with decent grades in case youtube is not really his passion, i might be being judgemental here but it seems like he's just lazy now and just want to do something that's currently popular, let him discover his passion by letting him pursue whatever he wants, but make promise that he will take responsibility of his decisions.

      I think that he should study something and he can try to do both things and see how it goes. And yes maybe he can make RUclips videos and be famous but he doesn't know if is going to be like that in the future and I think that is good to have a plan B and I think that he can study something that maybe could help him in RUclips or in social media, like communications or something.
      I think that he should think that his family is doing that because they want him to be in a good position in the future and bc they want him to be happy.
      I'm sorry if my English is bad haha is not my first lenguage

    When I as graduating in high school I wanted to take physical therapy course, because my friends are doing it. Honestly I don’t know what I will take in collage. But my mom advice me to take early childhood education, and she said just try it, and I’m glad I did, because it become my passion and I’m satisfied with what I’m doing right now, helping the development of formative stage of children and helping families. I’m glad I found what I really wanted to do. Thanks to my mom
