    Kind of funny the dirt biking started as something to do with jack but now I we never see him of the mrs dirt biking. What started as a Emily endvour has turned into a personal vise
    This! ( the noise when u fall of the band wagon).
    Finish ur bridge and make a video about that

    That's when the 4 stroke shines. Crossing rivers and climbing tight turns where you just can't keep it wide open. Looked like an unreal time my friend I can't wait to get back out there.
    Thanks for sharing,
    Cheers!

      @kingkevin267 6 лет назад +3

      Wrong, I bet if what happened to that guys 2 stroke who flooded, happened on a 4 stroke, they would be towing that bike out. First and foremost water would have mixed with the oil. Unless they had everything necessary to change the oil, right there, it would have been tow it back, or drive it till it explodes. then tow it back.

    • @funonvancouverisland
      @funonvancouverisland 6 лет назад +2

      Kevin Weil I don't believe we are thinking of the same crossing.. but all I can say is we would ride 40 bikes out in the mountains and cross rivers deeper, faster and wider than this all day without an issue. Had two 2 strokes come once.. only once and they walked both bikes down the mountain.

    • @adi326
      @adi326 6 лет назад +1

      technical enduro is for 2 strokes beacuse its all about torque and the power which these guys clearly dont use it and then there is more like flat ground enduro and thats for 4strokes

      The simple fact is you have to keep your 2 stroke wound up.. and when your crawling around you just can't.. there's no question you get more power, faster in a 2 stroke ( something better suited for the track 😉 )

    Truly blessed to be close to that kind of trail. Cool temps in the summer! We busted the 100 degree mark before the summer even started. 3 months of wicked hot temps. Would love to haul my bike out there. I have flown into Portland and been to Warm Springs. It was beautiful in the summer and as I was heading out on Sunday I saw a steady stream of trailers, dirt bikes, and kayaks etc... coming back as I was heading toward the mountains. I was jealous.

    Loved this video. I have comment and a short story about wet brakes. I don't think it's nearly as bad with disc brakes as with drum brakes, but always check/dry your brakes after getting them wet.
    Back in 1964, the Thomas Creek Bridge was fairly new.(The highest bridge in Oregon @ 345 feet) and there wasn't much traffic back then either. Some of my closest friends were riding in Thomas Creek with their Honda 50's.(C-110's) One guy had a Honda 150 Dream. They climbed back up and out of Thomas Creek, hit highway 101 and drove to the middle of the bridge and stopped. The guy on the 150 came roaring up with wet brakes and couldn't stop. He ricocheted of of one of the Honda 50's and when he did, he was thrown over the edge of the guard rail but hung up on his belt line. He had wraparound sunglasses on that came off. (no helmet back then) He says to this day he can still see those glasses sailing off toward the bottom of the abyss.(:>)

    What an adventure you and your buddies had together! I happy for you and the guys who took this epic trip with your dirt bikes ! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures of where you ( won’t tell us where you actually rode) but even to see you all outdoorsman having fun was alright with me! But I gotta say this looks amazing and it certainly would be a challenge riding so far. Awesome bridge to go across and see some of God’s glorious scenery every where you could enjoy seeing at 10,000 ft upon the ridges! Snow level no less how good does it get to have these kind of moments that some of us can only dream about! I am sure you must have made it home safe since you were able to edit and provide some quality pictures with all your subscribers! Thank you Cody for bringing us along for just a glance of your beautiful ride along!, 50 miles is hard to comprehend but now you will get to go back again!! 👍👍👍👍💙

    How about this one ?????? We were on our way to do my Thursday night show on KBON 101.1 FM here in town.........
    We were on a one way street waiting at a red light.... It turned GREEN, waited 3 seconds and went forward.... All of a sudden here comes a city POLICE car, Brand new one too. Going nobody knows where.....
    GOOD thing I saw him and told my wife to hit the brakes.. She did and then she saw that the cop was going to hit us broadside.........
    So she sped up and went to the left side of the road, since there was a wide area to keep on ahead......
    Now our best friend was right behind us and saw everything that happened........ The policeman turned right behind us and followed until we turned on our road to go to the radio station....... He kept on going though knowing he was in the wrong.....
    We got very scared and I guess he got scared also ..............
    What is going on these days with nobody watching the roads ??????

    Sadly, it's getting harder and harder to get away from the noise of "civilization". Those bikes just make it more difficult. I used to be able to walk for days and never hear an engine. Not anymore. Sigh. I know, it's fun and gets you out to where others can't go. I use my legs for that. It takes longer, but the quiet and peace are supreme. Oh, and a breakdown that can't be fixed? a walk out and a piece of trash left in the back country... Still, I agree, that was a fun vid.
