Love this band, but what a good job recording. This is the best sound I've heard. I don't like the sound on their cds because it doesn't catch the ensemble sound like this does. And what about those great Shay breaks!
Agree! They need to play a week straight in the Little Round Church and make a 7 disc CD recording. Should hold me off for a few weeks. Can't get enough Tuba Skinny!
The tin walls in the Brown Church help the live sound.

The acoustics of The Little Brown Church are very good.Each instrument is audible and the sound of the tuba is picked up very well.Greg is in good form too.

Have always thought if I got to hear them live I'd want it to be busking in NO, not in a hall. But lord I wish I'da been there last August. They are ALL playing beautifully .. and as a whole greater than the pieces. That's Shayes discernment I guess, but equally the heart and command each of them bring. Thanks again CineDevine.
