Thank you for this interview. It's a shame that people do not discover Quebec hip hop artists. The Quebec hip hop scene as been vibrant for years. So many talents. Unfortunately, as long as people, especially English speakers, will be close-minded about listening to music that is not in their language, I doubt that any Quebec artist who works in French or even Frenglish will be able to cross over. It's a loss for everyone, in my opinion.
Quebec rappers in my opinion need to upload to French rap channels. French rap is huge in Europe it would benefit not only the Quebec scene but the French scene too
As an American who also speaks French, Loud was an awesome intro into québécois rap. QC is so much closer culturally than France and as much as I love people like IAM or 1995, Loud was a dope find for me even tho I'm not from Canada.
