An absolutely fantastic tune from a super lovers artist, those cold, dark, English winter nights. Condensation ran down frosted windows competing with the warmth of young hearts; black folk getting down in the midst of dimly lit safe rooms, with only a kitchen light representing the bar to illuminate the busy hallway for the posers and stylers. I am young enough to still feel the loving vibe and atmosphere that lingers but old enough to shed a tear, at the many lost souls. I love my people.

Does anyone know the Curtis Mayfield original of this song? its called 'Love to Keep You in my Mind'. You can tell that many Jamaican artists from that era were big Curtis Mayfield fans. Junior English, Junior Murvin (Police & Thieves) & many others adapted Curtis's falsetto into their own singing style. 60's & 70's soul & R'n'B were hugely influential on early Reggae music
Good observation. Agreed. It was that US R&B that gave reggae that "other" passion: love. He did Curtis proud on this one. Prettier than all...the world 😉
Not just his falsetto but a great deal of his music. Most famous of all is Bob’s One Love. If you’ve notice sometimes it is labeled One Love (People Get Ready). PGR is the name of Curtis’
