Let's not forget that most of the people there in billions of debt. We saw in season 1 that if Gihoon didn't pay his debt to the loaners, they would have k*lled him. They are not only broke, but most in danger without the money. Even without playing the game you might be de*d, so might as well try to win. Also, as shown in the beginning of this season, most of those people are gamblers who would choose lattery ticket instead of food. So it makes sense why they would continue.
V, I love that you believe in humanity. I think of the best of people as well, but desperation, addiction, and self-sabotage are all part of the same coin. Others are frequently hurt by the desperate, addicted or selfish. So they would think only of their own safety.
Well none of them are thinking because getting out of the game would be pointless. They would still be in debt and be poor with no future or hopes. And after the first game, its not enough money per person to clear any debt. The vote itself is pretty realistic I'd say in terms of a good portion of people would have no issue playing many games in at a shot just to win big and be free of debt. It calls back to the bread vs lottery ticket scene. You give humans to much credit. :P
GiHun might shot him twice, but he cannot be sure that the crazy guy has another weapon or not, and this gun has a blank. Only us the viewers know for sure this is huy crazy and he wouldn't cheat. 😅

23:00 These might be honorable people, but I think it also speaks to how honorable Gi-hun in his dealings with them. Like, I imagine him using his laundered money to help people in need on top of giving everyone the money they need for jobs he hires them for. 18:30 Motels are set up with the doors to the rooms leading directly outside, and hotels have their rooms connected by a hallway and lobby.
I think one thing a lot of people arent considering too, is that if they all 'won' they would technically get more money even if noone died. If you are the sole survivor you get 45.6 billion won. 100million PER PERSON. If you don't get your own worths pay, Gi-Hun only would have received 45.5 billion. So odds are the 'survivor' gets their worth too. If the remaining 365 made it, they'd get another 68k USD each.
@@timmokoo5679 According to their rules it is. But they dont know that the games are likely rigged to reduce it to 3 or less. Just explaining the mathz
@ No it is not. For the second season, only 100 people can survive the mingle game. And in the first season, half the players are gonna die in the tug-of-war and half of those in marbles... theoretically 113 people could reach the final game in season one and then if would depend on how the rules are for several players. It is also possible they would choose different games along the way to manage the amount of players (the bridge, for example, would be kind of dumb with 100 players). But anyways the director said (after season one) that there can be only one winner.
@@timmokoo5679 but it is. Id imagine they dont just preselect 6 games and call it a day. More likely they pick something like 18-24 depending on how many survive as they go through. So in that sense is why i call it 'rigged'. And i suppose if you're arguing the semantic of "everyone" surviving then yeah, obviously its set up that they wont. But my initial comment was arguing about money received at the end based on the amount of survivors. Not whether theyd let it happen or not. If they didnt give money for survivors, Gi-huns amount would have been 4.55billion won. "Directorr said x". He can also change his mind and the rules. Considering yhe rules were adjusted between season 1 and 2 with the inclusion of "if majority votes out, you take the prize money with you" which wasnt in season 1. What he said back then doesnt automatically apply now
@TheNixBestThing Well the maximum number of people who could have survived season 2 to the point we have gotten is 100. You can say that you didn't mean literally everyone but less than a half is A LOT different than everyone, the difference is pretty relevant especially regarding what you are talking about. This is assuming the games are decided pre-season otherwise the survival rate could be different (but probably something lile this since this is what we are shown them to go with).

Did you know that the guy Gi Hun paid to find the recruiter is the same loan shark he owed money to back in season 1 episode 1? Btw who's your favorite character this season?
10:19 He’s performing a test of privilege for the least privileged, those that choose the lottery have likely had more opportunities to food, while those that choose the bun have starved enough to what to choose, it’s a sick attempt at humbling the misfortunate and struggling
i think you have to consider that a lot of people in the games are at effectively a dead end, and the games are their last shot at life. as we saw in s1, for a lot of these people they are gonna die out in the real world, and they would rather play the game and potentially win more
"He's just praying on people, its awful!" I mean not really. He's literally giving them a choice between food or a lottery ticket. They are choosing to continue to make bad decisions by choosing the ticket instead. Sadly many homeless really would make such a choice. Now obviously I do understand you may think its mean because it give them hope if they get the ticket. But the lesson he is teaching them is to stop betting on trying to instantly win at life. You have to work hard to survive. They could have a meal, but instead choose a near impossible chance at getting rich quick. And like so many real homeless, those who have been helped way to often end up homeless again because they can't make good decisions.
35:37 VK… this is such a flawed way of thinking. It doesn’t matter what a RUclipsr, Podcaster, or anyone tells you. With everything you do in your life, you ALWAYS have the final choice to make a decision or not. This dude didn’t force Thanos to invest, he merely gave bad advice to a broad audience online. There’s tons of misinformation out there and at the end of the day, it’s always your own choice when making a decision. Walking around blaming others for your own mistakes is no way to live.
Yea i don't think enough people are highlighting that BOTH of these people are wrong here. The youtuber actively tricked a lot of people about a topic he knows he's more educated on. He knows his viewers learn from him, so he can essentially say anything he wants and they'll take it at face value. But at the same time, trusting ANYONE that much is almost always a horrible idea. You have to take everything with a grain of salt and do your due diligence before making such a huge decision like the one Thanos made to invest. They're both at fault in different ways.
Oh V, how naive you are to the true darkness that lives in this world. I would play this game in an instant. And so would millions and millions of others.

@@reformedtoxic1488 It's called setup. wait for the end of the entire show before you judge whether a plotline was thrown out or not. It's not done.
I was watching her season 1 reactions just this week and seeing her reaction to this season pop up made my day
V, I love that you believe in humanity.
It’s crazy to me that people would even consider continuing with the games after the traumatizing experience with red light, green light. How do you watch all those ppl panic and pile up and just get shot down and say “yeah I’m ready for the next game” 😢
There broke they’d rather die than go back to that horrible life
@Bossgaming-t7z Especially as it seems like they are gonna get killed out there too if they don't have the money to pay off their debtors. At least some of them.
Hello Vicky, I love your top in your intro!🤍 The modern cut is very flattering on you. I did binge this new season a couple of nights ago, too.😉 He definitively bought the whole hotel. Otherwise he could not fire those guns there. Great emotional reactions t the first three episodes, Vicky!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Happy New Year!🥳
Thank you, Vicky!
ok comment vanished lets try again . happy new year vicky your hair is fire 🔥, brilliant reaction it sure puts the viewer through it thats for sure . i dont know if you have in your own time watched alice in borderland or not but its been 2yrs since season 2 ended and season 3 is coming this year i think as you like squid game so much its something you would love equally :) anyways cheers for this wonderful vid vicky you were great as always
The sniper girl saw the sick kid's dad in there
12:07 I also thought their dead bodies were in those bags
I think one thing a lot of people arent considering too, is that if they all 'won' they would technically get more money even if noone died. If you are the sole survivor you get 45.6 billion won. 100million PER PERSON. If you don't get your own worths pay, Gi-Hun only would have received 45.5 billion. So odds are the 'survivor' gets their worth too. If the remaining 365 made it, they'd get another 68k USD each.
Them all winning is not possible though.
It's a masterclass of the same level as season 1 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
17:05 Agreed. That last shot was only a few notches above Reservoir Dogs. It should've cleared it by a lot, lot more.
46:40 ... SUCH A HIGHLIGHT rofl, that made me grin xD The plot twist half a min later got me xD
I agree, I hope for the best out of humanity, but keeping a hint of reality in my head helps keep me grounded knowing there are a lot of shitty people out there. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Don't change Vkunia.
46:41 You’re so cute and hilarious when cursing, V😂😂😂
Just started the new season myself about 15 minutes ago. Happy new year
How was it?
@Kenny-ep2nf I finished episode 2 yesterday. I'm liking it so far! I don't binge lol.
@ Yeah it’s nice to take your time whilst watching a show
@@Kenny-ep2nf Agreed and the way I see it once you finish it's less time you have to wait for the next season
@@grantheming1975 that’s correct because if you take 4-5 weeks to finish it you only have to wait 5 months for season 3 whilst if you watch the whole thing in one day you’ll be waiting 6 months
I cannot WAIT for the next game Squid Games 3 😳
Ohh me too, season 2 is already soo exciting
I cannot WAIT for the next game. That game was so much fun.. I got caught up even forgetting that people die in this game show... Then the timer ran out and brought me back to reality
Damn hahaa
41:52 of course, the orders. he lost despite still being alive...
for the bread abd lottery i really dont think its a bad thing all he did was show them that gambelling away with lottery and not taking food is bad and probally the reason they got into that place
The moment 001 comes into the scene☠️
V upload the Avatar episodes frequently
Happy New Year 🕛🎊🎉🥳🎇🎈
VKunia 13:19 , 40:10 those seems like some wild guesses. How did you know SUS! 🥴
The triangle girl paused on the one guy she was looking at because it was the dad from the park with the girl.
@44:10 -- and i personally thought a majority of people would say no to another 4 years of trump! 🙄
I’ve been wanting to get a chance to see Squid Game SZN 2 and I will soon. I wrote it on my bucket list.
You'll love it
I love how everyone else’s reactions aren’t blocked. Wish I knew what I was doing wrong.
Did you know that the guy Gi Hun paid to find the recruiter is the same loan shark he owed money to back in season 1 episode 1? Btw who's your favorite character this season?
I appreciate you and thank you for making content.
Happy New Year Vkunia 🎉🎉❤❤
I had to watch this in 0.5x speed so I could read the subtitles 🫠
26:46 haloween is just as big in s korea and japan as it is here.
actually its big pretty much everywhere except like italy and such
When she cried I wanted to cry to 😢
Sweetie Fox??
Lowkey u look like grus wife lol new subscriber btw and love ur vids!!
Idk if this is really a spoiler, but 001 is the front man ( the one in charge of squid games) if you didn't know VKunia
10:19 He’s performing a test of privilege for the least privileged, those that choose the lottery have likely had more opportunities to food, while those that choose the bun have starved enough to what to choose, it’s a sick attempt at humbling the misfortunate and struggling
The opening from o x squidgame made me had chills
Happy New Year!!
1:29 “That’s what she said…” 😉
Ayoo😂😂
i think you have to consider that a lot of people in the games are at effectively a dead end, and the games are their last shot at life. as we saw in s1, for a lot of these people they are gonna die out in the real world, and they would rather play the game and potentially win more
"He's just praying on people, its awful!" I mean not really.
Just gonna mention this, and hope I am not coming through as a creep - Your hair looks amazing! Also, yay for the squid!
38:52 three or more possibilities...
There's something hilarious about the thought of V's purse being full of Twix.
10:00 bro made jokes instead of appreciating acting skills
All the people commenting stuff that she'll find out later should know better than to spoil things. But I'm sure anyway that she finished watching this season anyway and it just hasn't hit YT yet.
Happy New year bby ❤❤❤❤❤
10:20 Vee, the GTA homeless would like a chat.
25:30 The only thing you're right about.
This haircut makes you look 10 years older V. Go back to the ones that were *slayyyy* 💅
Hello, good video! I’ve just finished my very first remix of the Squid Game 2 Mingle Game theme song. What do you think of it? 🤪🤪😝
Vkunia dear i know it's a few days after Christmas but you need to check out the movie "it's a wonderful life"!!!! It has some Christmas parts but it's a good movie to see whatever time of year it is.... it's a life changing movie ....
19:13 Tbf he was getting like hundreds of selfies a day for a while and when they told him about the recruiter they didn't send a selfie they called him
Also at 32:10 why don't you wanna see the back or front of the ship?
_"why don't you wanna see the back or front of the ship?"_
It's just a thing, watch her Pirates of the Caribbean reaction. Reminds me of Blind Wave Aaron's thing against needles.
Squid Game. Singular.
46:02 interesting face. Its like she's old but with juvenile qualities still in tact. Looks like a mouse imo
Ho-ly-shit! It's like she knows when I want to watch a video from her. Love the bangs, btw. Thanks for bringing them back, Vicky. 😘
A lot of people really like saying "Games" instead of "Game" don't they? 😅
It's like the opposite of the Demon's Souls situation.
REACT ON ANIMAL MOVIE ITS AN BOLLYWOOD MOVIE
