The way they absolutely soaked and misdirected Colin and his reaction was the highlight.
Some are saying this was fake, but I don't think his reactions are fake at all. He is obviously reading lines off the prompter but I don't think he knew where it was going each time.
All I can say is the fact that Cecily can play Jeannine so well; AND then turn around and do a character like Cath Anne is a testimony to her unbelievable talent.
Word. This is just stunning, the make-up fits to a tee and so does her voice acting.
I can't tell how much good this does me after having to watch the real wanna-be southern belle and her fake outrage shtick.

And don't think Cecily didn't hype it as well, like the extra spitting of her drink she did on the first one , right after she had already leaned in for the kill. And she really poured it on when she flung that drink at him after that, when he really lost it , completely. Then Michael coming up with an extra drink ! Colin yelling " Why would you do that? Why would you do that?" and Michael answering with " To see where it goes.". No way Colin knew any of it was coming and just "acting". Practical joke surprises , pulled on cast members AFTER the rehearsals, go all the way back to the legendary Carol Burnett show and before that, Soupy Sales, . And many others which are comedy classics. You don't know what you're talking about nor can you tell the very obvious difference.

ok dramatic to say this but watching Colin react to what is likely unscripted ( specifically in the Jeanine Piro skits) truly contributes to the renewal of my will to live. These weekend updates have been so funny and just pure gold. I never knew watching a comedian get spit on and tricked into saying racist jokes would bring me so much joy.
