Hello, I am from Germany and my English is not very good, so I just want to double-check to make sure I understand correctly: You rode the bike for about 30 miles completely WITHOUT PEDALING? That's incredible...
@@theridewithlance Thanks for your reply! I still cant believe that the motor/battery has such power. I already have the bike in my shopping cart and I'm not sure if it can handle my weight, which is nearly 350 lbs... I mean in everyday use, with slight inclines.
@@axp2579 Does Germany allow 750 watt motors, or does Germany only allow 250 watt motors. My Zebra has the 750 watt motor. The max weight the Zebra can handle is 400lbs, so your fine their.
@@theridewithlance Wow...I was absolutely not aware that in the US its a 750 watt motor...in germany 250 watts only...everything bigger and better in the USA :)
My husband and i did a range test on our HeyBike Rangers. He is close yo your size, full throttle did 32. I did half throttle half pedaling snd i had 1 bar left.
I think this is the typical range for most ebikes with a 48v 15 to 20 amp battery. Even when I did the PAS 5 test on my RadRover, the mileage was close to the same as the throttle only test on the Radrover.
Unfortunately, in the UK we have strict regulations on e-bikes. The motors are limited in both power and function, as in they can only have a max wattage of 250w and they are not allowed to be able to function without pedalling. Also the throttle will do nothing but push you from a stand still to about 3mph (slower than walking). One you start pedalling, or if you go past that speed, the throttle cuts out. We also have terrible weather and lots of inclines, with traffic lights everywhere. So there is a lot of wind resistance, potholes, hills and stopping at lights every 2 minutes. I hate how restrictive this country is.
@@fsociety.dat101you can get full throttle bikes now from Wisper. But they have to be sent off and officially certified first. Pretty lame but at least they're available and legal now (I think only Wisper is allowed to sell them)
From the factory it is set at 32 KPH, at least for the ones sold in the US. I dont know if that is different for other countries. That is equal to 20 MPH in the US. I plan on doing an upcoming video on how to increase the speed through the menu settings on the Zebra.
@@theridewithlance thank you for the response. I bought the bike on the Himiway site. it was delivered in the Netherlands. I have seen a fragment on youtube that the 6 km / h mode can be switched off and that it then reaches the maximum set speed (LS). I just can't find this fragment. but thanks anyway. yours sincerely.

That's correct, and your English is good.

Impressive. Ebikes are the best :)
Yes they are!
Is there a way to unlock the speed for the throttle in the uk
Honestly, I do not know. I did some research on this, but could not find anything. Sorry.
If your in The Eu or Uk, you’ll need the US version Controller and it will unlock the throttle with your 250w motor. Hope that helps 😊
Amazing how far one battery can go
Even with a big guy like me.
Hi watchnyou video but carnt get my throttle to excelerate above 3mph , how do you get the throttle to go faster ta ste
I dont know what would cause it to only go 3MPH. I think you should contact Himiway and have them help you diagnose the problem.
