Beautiful animal...😊 'don't mind me folks! I'm just washing the blood and guts off from my face' ...spotted hyenas are so funny, they even laugh at themselves 🤣
This proves most ppl wrong, they not the cold hearted creature many make them out to be. Even Hyena's have a playful gentle side to them. It's inner cub is enjoying the water 😊
@@zoaderman2108 starting with the groin is pretty common. That’s why hyenas have short back legs to protect themselves. And eating prey alive isn’t really their fault, they have to eat it as soon as possible or else a lion could come steal their kill.
Good spot..If you watch in big screen , you can spot this heyena was hassled by a wasp or something, The first few seconds and the last images ,before it ran out of the water, show it very clearly.. These predators often have a smell of rotten meat over them, which makes them prime targets for all kinds of nasty parasites...Unlike lions etc., we yet have to see hyenas grooming each other....
PAULLONDEN, As far as I know, hyenas only groom their cubs but they seem to groom each other too, though I'm not 100% sure on the latter right now. However, they do groom themselves and take baths and mud baths to get rid of parasites and cool off much like elephants do. I think it unreasonable to say hyenas 'often have a smell of rotten meat over them' as they are not the scavengers people make them out to be and do clean themselves. Lions can get themselves pretty dirty at a carcass too, yet most people think they're 'clean' and don't smell bad (let's not forget lions like to roll in other animals' dung). Then again, I've never gotten close enough to either of these apex predators to take a sniff to be sure lol. But my point is: no animal is safe from parasites and lions are just as much of a target as hyenas. Neither often smells like rotten meat (well, except after they've eaten) or is dirty.
*Sucico2*___ Thanks for your reaction, but as I typed ,(these *_predators_* often have the smell of rotten meat hanging over them) . I wasn't merely pointing out hyeneas, who are very impressive animals, but very aggressive, which starts at the den, where a cub that was unfortunate to have been born a few hours later , is often bullied to death. Ofcourse heyenas have their own way of cleaning, but mostly we see heyenas bully each other ,opposed to other predators who take the time to strengthen bonds by grooming each other; in that respect heyenas only have been spotted sniffing each others' genital areas, to confirm a bond.......
The Yeena ran away from a bug @2:09, I think it was in the water to escape the bug in the first place, wow will take 1100psi bites from its clan members but runs away from a bug, maybe the sting hurts really bad? 😂
Hyenas do two things i love most: 1) they laugh when being attacked as they bounce their booty's on the ground to protect their nuts. 2) They are always willing to politely join another animal's meal and share it.
He also might have gotten something in his ears from the water besides the big bothering him. It didn't seem that unusual to me really. They're crazy acting anyways.
This hyena was with bitten, stung or sprayed by something. It wanted to go into the water to try and sooth whatever it was, but than damn flying wasp wouldn't leave him alone. He finally had enough after the last charge from that wasp.
willie peppers um There doesn't have to be horses for horse flies to exist you dummy it's just a parasitic fly, it bites any warm blooded thing. Don't let the name make you think it only lives off the blood of horses. Geeez
Why does this video have so many dislikes? There is no reason to hate a random hyena bathing in a pond.
I think they wanted to see gore.
At 02:09 you can clearly see the bug that is harassing him. It might of previously bit him on the arm also.
Agree
yes, that's why it run away form that bug instantly when the bug show up
In the Wild, harassment, injuring and killing is everywhere even in the form of a small bug. There is no peace for the animals there whatsoever!!
Everybody needs a little 'me' time, even hyenas
Beautiful animal...😊 'don't mind me folks! I'm just washing the blood and guts off from my face' ...spotted hyenas are so funny, they even laugh at themselves 🤣
Lol
Yep, use to hate them until i realized they walking comedians thus why they are called laughing Hyenas.
I thought the hyena was winning, but suddenly the water claimed victory
Haha yes
Surely a crocodile...........😁😁😁😁😁

They eat other animals babies and start with the groin. What you mean they not cold-hearted bruh?

Africa's most common animal: a laughing hyena!
Africa's rarest animal: a serious hyena
When you have an idea but you're impatient
Where is crocodile?😅😅😅
I’m pretty sure it’s trying to escape the bug that’s harassing it...😦
You can see a big flying bug harassing it...

Bloody sucking bugs
Hyenas are awesome
Beautiful. Animal
Nice to see what delight looks like in the wild.
Hyena was having a fine time until a bee started messing up his bath time!😄
Luckily there's no croc 😂😂😂😂😂
Hyena + Water = Happy Hyena
where is the fucking croc now...?
The tough hyena is running away from a bug 2:10 lol
Looked as if hyena had a problem with its mouth? Bee sting? Or it was trying to find a carcass under the water?
How cute!!!
he's a bit special :D
Hyena try to avoid flying insect around him

Where's a crocodile when you need one!
Any croc around?
It works these movements because lice and ticks leaving her body, causing her some pain and that why it inter to the water
me?, taking a shower, then discovering I don´t like water....
Why is this Hyena in the water? Cooling off or fishing?
what the heck are you recording this with? either my pc is broken or it's recorded in 1 frame every 3 seconds.
The photographer is missing all the shots....he needs a Nikon Z9 with 45 pics per second😇
Seems like, It can't describe the pleasure that it feels inside that refreshing pool of goodness.

Nothing like having a good bathe or shower! Water can have that affect on you.🤫
*effect
It looks like its gotta sneeze but it won't come out 😀Then it got the zoomies
He also might have gotten something in his ears from the water besides the big bothering him. It didn't seem that unusual to me really. They're crazy acting anyways.
He's trying to get away from the biting flies and bite out the mites
Very nice
Reminds me of a crazy guy in my hometown who's been crazy ever since he returned from the Vietnam War.
I wish a crocodile was there 😄
I wish your mother would have aborted you instead of letting you grow to a full term retard. 😇
🤦🏾♀️ The Crocs were all hangover from the party last night.
Something probably was biting him in the water
Some kind of stinging flying insect must be brutal to put hyena on the run like that
Looks like he got some water up his nose. I hate when that happens.
Dummy almost ate his own tail. 🤣🤣
I dont know what you think about hyena, but i think this creature is so ugly
This hyena was with bitten, stung or sprayed by something. It wanted to go into the water to try and sooth whatever it was, but than damn flying wasp wouldn't leave him alone. He finally had enough after the last charge from that wasp.
Not a monster crocodile in sight.... It was a good day!
"Hyena + Water = Hyena with Rabbies..." .
Probably trying to get rid of some ticks.
Sometimes hyenas are cute😊
Looked like it had a 🐍 or something. It brought it out of the water briefly.
Antellopes and Gazelles have developed a new weapon, the Bug.
He saw a big ass bug and did the race
When human shows teeth, he's only laughing.
When hyena shows teeth, he's crazy.
It seems that the hyena is having some health issue.
The hyena is most likely annoyed by insects
Hyna was there quite long, but there are no crocs turn up...
*I hate this bastard, This monster hyena should not even get water*
How else is it supposed to drink? It can't just go to the grocery store and pick up a bottle of water, now.
Stop the video at exactly 2:11 and you'll see the crocodile, I believe.
No wonder he's alone coz he cray cray.
Looks like he was scared of a bug
Hyena: dipdapawsindipdapawsin
Oh my god what's was that? What he's doing 😧
Hey hey hey...... Heyna😂

Hello. Its simple !! She see his reflexion in the water and she think that a another hayena !!!

At the end looks like uncle croc arrived.
First time out of quarantine
Obviously no croc in that pond.
He's just trying to get the water out of his ear
I liked for thumbnail
I think that was an el shocking it lol that’s what that noise was 👍🏾
I think it’s rabid

When you try shrooms for the first time
WTF I just wasted my 2 minutes⁉️
Crazy Hyena 😰😰😰😰
Que salami
Thats the goofy heyna from the lion king
Does it have rabies or something?
They must have something like horseflies in Africa pestering this individual.
Natternkopf Sonnenkönig so a zebra is a horse? Hmmmm?kinda like how a lion is a jaguar?

Latoya Thomas so with that logic..a bot fly is the same as a horse fly..im sure it has a different name homegirl
In fact also the Gniu and some equine breeds belong to the horse therefore
this heyna has eaten poisonous
I'm pretty sure this one is called Ed
She play with someone we can’t see! 😭😭
He's lucky 🐊
Wheres a good croc when you need one?

2:10 no wonder it was going nuts imagine that fucking buzzing about you biting into you FACK THAT
