It blows my mind..... you took something that looks like it shouldn't fly at all, and you've made it so it tracks better than other designers do with traditional designs. Great job as always.
Watching all of this videos about you flying this types of designes which if you take a first look at them, you think that it will be impossible to make it flyable, yet make it look so easy and make it super smooth as well, made me want to quit my job, sell my cars and start an aerospase engeniring degree... Keep going like this, and I'm sure some big company will definitely knock at your door!
Love your designs and enthusiasm, my OCD can't stop seeing the squared off sides of the wing wishing they'd follow the arched contour like the first version, in my eyes that'd be perfect! keep up the awesome work, something I could never do ....... well done ;-) P.S. I like both, hopefully one day I will get them printed and use a gyro in the first edition.
if your looking for something else to make, i most solely beg you make a U-2. we need a edf glider thats scale. but besides that great work, i am so very impressed with what designs you took and made them flyable. awesome work!
I got a challenge for you! Do you think you will be able to make it Vtol capable, or like add some vertical thrusters on the wings for it to be able to land and take off vertically or even hover?!
Is that the bat jet from the 90s micheal keaton batman film? Or maybe it was val kilmer? I cant remember but thats definitely the same design lol right?
How come your surface finish is so rough? Is that what PLA does or is it because you are printing fast for production. I am looking at the QIDI plus 4. Any suggestions?
If you want to see what many of this channel's models look like sanded and finished, check out another channel called "Sody's Project". Sody has full finished NGAD, FA/XX, Firefox, Bat Jet, F22 Raptor, Dagger1, and SU47 models from this very channel showing full details like proper panel lines, NACA ducts, and even this channel's Batworx logo. AFAIK, the finished builds Sody shows off are not full remixes and have all the same details in the original STL files. The only exceptions being a few where he added his own thrust vectoring mechanism. Foaming LW-PLA usually does that weird bubbling texture. Every build vid I've seen of any planes from other youtubers that use foaming filament usually have sanding and trimming done. This channel may be deliberately not doing time consuming finishing touches as well as speed printing so he can get multiple prototypes done for testing before settling on a final design. I mean, just look thru his video history and you will see he will have 2-3 vids on just 1 plane in a week's time, sometimes he's showing off more than 1 plane a week, some are sanded others are not. But all these planes he shows us are prototypes and these little printing artifacts don't drastically affect the flight. The real selling point of these models IS the flight performance. I've seen enough of the more polished final models to trust he gets the small details into the end product. TBH, he's incredibly enthusiastic about these models he creates, and I for one appreciate how many he puts out in such a short time span as it helps keep me motivated with my own projects.

Watching this while having the 1989 Danny Elfman Bat-theme playing in another tab... is glorious!!! 🦇
That thing looks the opposite of air worthy, and yet it is...
Mind blown.

Just purchased. Thanks again for your hard work!
Just like a bee. It's not supposed to be able to fly but they sure as hell do.
Oh I love your videos. You got me hooked. I want to get a P1S or the QIDI plus 4 for higher temp printing.
@@jamesvarner250 p1p is on sale for $449! My favorite by far

Magnifique, j adore 😃👍
Can we see a video about all your most aerodynamic builds and see which one one be able to scale to dive with mini jet thrusters series
love your vids
heck ya. the 2200 can be for the airshow curcuit and the 1500 for zippin` around? super fun flier. heck ya.
Just wondering if you have ever tried a flying pancake, otherwise known as the Vought V-173. Maybe see if a jet version could work?
so glad for the new design will be printing soon links for motors would be nice
What dark LW-pla do you use?
Guy makes anything fly 😭

just purchased! do you have the AUW? thanks
I would be super intrigued to see a CFD of this
@@calebsmit4268 it would be a trip. It needs massive reflex to not porpoise
@@hotlapkyle your knowledge and design skills are so dope XD ... Hopefully we will get to see a cfd or this one day 👌
What kind of propulsion system you use? In dark star and fa/xx?

Maybe a video with you passing in front of the moon.?!Or is that copyrighted?
i am curious and very serious could one build a drone in the shape of a person flying???
Very cool

Do you think it's possible for you to get a Cylon Raider to fly. That's in Battle Stat

I have the same question😅
I believe it’s because he uses LW-PLA that foams when put through the extruder, which gives a matte rough finish.
. I thought it might be the PLA but look at the battery cover. And just other irregulairities.
Matte finish is one thing. Look at the vents and looks like scratches. My real question is this P1s or would QIDI PLUS 4 do better.

Hey man, try making a cylon raider fly...
can Warner Bros sue u for selling that?
No as this is Kyle's interpretation it's not a replica 😉👍
@@stevearmett1565 ya but surely the name "batwing" is copy righted as well as its a spitting image of one of batmans batwings.
@@xthe_moonx If that was the case then you couldn't build an F15 or F16, Firefox or Darkstar. I very much doubt that they give a monkeys !!!
