I’m 68 almost 69 in a month and I still go over and do my daughters yardwork sometimes house work like now I’m doing leaves and picking up acorns everywhere and crushed acorns from the wheels of the car. I just live in a small apartment now downsized but I still am capable enough of going out there for a couple hours every couple days to do things and I’m lucky that I still can. There’s nothing like coming home a little sore and achy when you get into bed at night because it feels like you accomplish something and mentally that’s everything. I’ve really found out since I’ve retired that either helping somebody else or just getting the job done in my own apartment is mentally uplifting. I know some people don’t have the luxury of family to help and for those people we’re lucky we have people like you. But my dad was a veteran of World War II, my first husband who died in a plane crash with the Air Force and my second husband was the Vietnam war and I’m very partial to veterans. Thank you so much again and God bless you.
