what seems to be forgotten by the msu slackies is dantonio's contribution to the current landscape. the toxic turn in the rivalry was kicked off by him sarcastically saying "should we have a moment of silence for michigan" after we lost to appalachian state. that loss had nothing to do w/ msu and he had no business making such a comment. he was simply looking to stir things up and to kick someone while they're down. the "little brother" joke came a couple months later in response...then we got dantonio's childish comment about mike hart's height. adding to that, the paul bunyan trophy was never paraded around post-game until dantonio did it. i'm sure he did more but those are the things i can think of quickly. amazing how the msu media/fanbase never acknowledge dantonio's antics that escalated the tensions over the years, setting the stage to where we are now.

He has players working on their helmet swinging and targeting game for the game this year. He wants more than one Michigan player concussed and knocked out the next week.
It’s very clear what is happening here. UM is going to be great, MSU is going to be awful, and Valenti doesn’t want UM fans to take over the stadium and chant “WE OWN SPARTY”
The UM/MSU game isn't a coin flip.. We played MSU in JJs 7th start last year... Michigan barely threw the ball @ Iowa.. was forced to throw it @ Indiana..then barely threw the ball vs PSU and MSU... Later in the season this team went on to obliterate OSU @ the shoe by 22 where JJ did throw the ball. He also threw the ball in the B1G title game. This is not the same old UM program of the past not to mention MSU won't have Peyton Thorne or Keon Coleman who accounted for all your offense last year. Michigan is coming to E. Lansing to bury Sparty, period..

Imagine using your platform to deter your Rival fans from going to the game😂 what a clown. By the way this isn’t just a big game for MSU. Michigan is going to want to bury MSU after what happened in the tunnel last year.
Michigan's motivation will be to remain undefeated while striving for a National Championship. Their players would be dumb to engage in anything else.
Historically it might be a coin flip in East Dumping, but there is no way this year’s game is a coin flip. Tell yourselves that if you need to soothe yourselves with a pacifier.
Mike layin' down the Sparty thuganomics, straight out of the Mel Tucker playbook.
Which was started by Narduzzi.
Poor skunkweasels looking for trouble and getting it no one beleives you lying arseholes. UZI Smith played 7 games with a felony Guncharge 9mm with 3 clips totaling 69 slugs,no drivers or gun license and doing an estimated 53 mph in a 35. And Hairball covered it all up. Violation of the laws and decent conduct - and Sparty's Rogue?
This is so ridiculous, Ohio State fans hate Michigan way more and there's never been some sort of disaster. It's pretty obvious that they're putting this out there now so that if something happens at the game they can say "SEE! WE TOLD YOU NOT TO COME". Foh with that.
Woody tore up the sideline markers and punched a cameraman, both in Ann Arbor.
MSU fans are openly calling for violence against opposing teams fans now? Including children and women. Yikes!!
Only Michigan fans would spin his take like that
@@zm4955 gonna cry?
@@zmrushlow2720 you spin facts because you can't handle the truth

only Sparty fans can make their team and somehow themselves feel as victims seeking revenge after their players commit assault and battery injuring michigan players.
And only UM fans can sweep the Dr. Anderson thing under the rug by paying to make it go away. Get off your high horse dude.
It's ok to assault people if you wear maize and blue we know cough cough Jabril peppers
@@putansug only a spartan fan can throw a red herring with something completely unrelated to the subject of the radio show topic at hand to deflect.
@@Brettwbeyer14 Only a Wolverine fan would avoid responsibility for a much more serious thing and claim moral superiority when they are wronged in the slightest. Get off your high horse dude.
@@putansugnot really. Ohio had a doctor do the exact same thing and it got swept under the rug too because both were dead and had a passed the statue of limitations. The reason msu went thru the ringer was because he was a current doctor associated with MSU At the time he got caught and the board mishandled the whole situation. The idea that nobody at the school knew anything was insane.
Notice how he never said he’d be there. This dude is all for projecting this, but he don’t want no smoke. He’s not built like that. Rico either. But they’ll talk tough, right?
Here we go again michigan living rent free in Valentis head
I’m sorry.. what ? Charges were dropped only after the pre-plea diversion program. After evidence of the 6 month program was completed thru the work of Washtenaw County probation department, than they were dropped. Not some conspiracy like this radio host is inferring
The assumed acknowledgment from the host telling fans of the opposing team not to come or else you will catch a battery to the head is concerning.. shows nothing learned from the tunnel incident and actually points to the MSU fan base as being complicit with swinging a helmet at somebody’s head. Both can do harm..
And All the while... MICHIGAN 49-0 MSU.. MSU 1 RUSHING TD IN BIG TEN PLAY 😂😂😂
Love it when scUM fans are trollin' Mike and Rico!
“Coin flip at best”
Michigan is going to roll this team by 4 scores
Ya’ll say this literally every year and it never happens
@@ClicheOriginals5-7 /:
So glad Mike “doesn’t condone the violence”. wink wink.
Nobody is scared of east lansing kids
Mike is either threatening with violence or just scared. Whichever school he supports, this is completely unprofessional.
Mike acting as if this is an all freshman team coming Into East lansing and the big stage will get to them lol. Doubt corum dono JJ and that o-line are too worried about East lansing crowd noise after games in the shoe, happy valley, camp Randall, and the college football playoff these last 2 years.
what seems to be forgotten by the msu slackies is dantonio's contribution to the current landscape. the toxic turn in the rivalry was kicked off by him sarcastically saying "should we have a moment of silence for michigan" after we lost to appalachian state. that loss had nothing to do w/ msu and he had no business making such a comment. he was simply looking to stir things up and to kick someone while they're down. the "little brother" joke came a couple months later in response...then we got dantonio's childish comment about mike hart's height. adding to that, the paul bunyan trophy was never paraded around post-game until dantonio did it. i'm sure he did more but those are the things i can think of quickly. amazing how the msu media/fanbase never acknowledge dantonio's antics that escalated the tensions over the years, setting the stage to where we are now.
I just wanna go all the more now!
Does Valenti realize that MSU is going to be horrendous? UM will steamroll them.
Mike hates Michigan doesn't matter what we do he has nothing to pull on than news stories like these
Those MSU coaches be like: "Aint none of you players wanted to come here, it's just that no other team wanted you. Let's get mad and start some violence!" 😂
I mean, he is African-American, and he tried to use the Victimhood strategy prior to last years game, and we sae what happened because of that
Like we’re afraid of some sparty fans
Sparty fans realize this just reinforces everything about your school and culture, right?
I’ve been to Spartan stadium wearing CMU and Michigan gear and have never had issues. Most ticket holders are alumni so who is actually going to risk their tickets, job and enrollment at either school?
Mike is acting like all Spartan fans are wanting to get vengeance on Michigan fans for past incidents. Only the idiots want to do that. All he’s doing is riling people up and making it worse. He’s a reason why this rivalry gets uglier.
Sparty thuggery on the Way
Mike's making a good point I went to my 1st NFL game in Cleveland as a road fan and went in normal clothes and it was completely justified within rhe 1st 5 mins of being in the stadium.
Typical....grease ball making threats he'll never attempt....just to get his team stomped even worse than what it would have been
So what they're telling me is Tuck is coming again now?
He has players working on their helmet swinging and targeting game for the game this year. He wants more than one Michigan player concussed and knocked out the next week.
It’s very clear what is happening here. UM is going to be great, MSU is going to be awful, and Valenti doesn’t want UM fans to take over the stadium and chant “WE OWN SPARTY”
I was at the game with U of M gear on and had amazing time best time ever watching and celebrating that 49-0 beat down 😂😂
The UM/MSU game isn't a coin flip..
I didn't play football at Michigan but I was a student there in the early 90's. I believe it was Gittleson who popularized the following, 'Persona non grata'.
Michigan is Still gonna win. Stands will be empty by the 4th quarter
they will be full of maize and blue
How to Sparty get railroaded ?
Can’t wait to watch this blowout happen Go Blue!
Ya at least they won't duck out like your boy Hairball did to tOSU 2020 because of covid then had a full team practice the next day
I hope we beat them by 100. This fanbase doesn’t care that one of our players got assaulted
Michigan started it you cheating F**** like they did with Ohio St and Penn St - then they play UZI Smith who had a Felony gun charge while speeding with out either a driver's or conceal carry permit. Ya squeaky clean thugs
The softness from the Michigan fans in the comments is hilarious
softness? fans arent gang bangers
@@thedudeabides76 I mean Michigan fans acting like Mike is threatening them instead of seeing it as advice that this year won’t be a family friendly game.
there were plenty of MSU fans in Ann Arbor during last years night game… what the hell is wrong with this guy?
Typical MSU fan following the lead of their thuggish, violence embracing coach.
The series all-time record in East Lansing since MSU joined the Big Ten is 17-15-1 (um advantage, so basically a coin flip like Mike said)
Haha, this game is not a coin flip. Be real!
@@jttorn33 yea, MSU is 10-5 the last 15 years so you’re right. It’s getting lopsided at this point
@@byronbullough5739 yea, I don’t think teams 5,10,15 years ago have a lot to do with this year’s teams. What is lopsided are the two 2023 teams. UM may have its best team in years while MSU may not win 4 games in conference. A lot would have to happen ala TCU to even give MSU a chance. To say coin flip game is absurd and foolish.
Michigan State will be a cakewalk
These kinds of topics make me hate this rivalry. Like all things, there are toxic fans on both sides, however, the constant competition and arguments before and after the game are as frustrating as a political debate. I just want to watch football man
The game could be a 2 am, it’s a cute take but we putting that ass thru a grinder
“This game is a coin flip” says Mike. Does Mike not realize MSU sucks right now?
So Michigan State the victim now! They jumped our players in the tunnel because they got rocked. Michigan is gone be all business, and bust that ass! Please make no mistakes about that! Michigan no longer overlooks lil brother! 〽️🏈💯👑💪🏾
Does anyone think MSU is going to win more than 6 games...?
It gives Msu a better shot in theory but if they can't stop Michigan's offense or win in they trenches, that's that.
Yep I agree! On both sides Michigan is better. Maybe the strength of MSU as a whole this year is their front seven, but still just not close to touching UM O-line and running game. Especially when they have zero secondary behind them.
And that MSU Oline has so much to prove. They have been horrendous. Supposedly they have gotten better, but what does that even mean? They won’t suck as bad? Lmao
But you are right no way I’d ever discount MSU in this game no matter what time it’s played or where it’s played. No doubt a night game gives something extra to this.
UM is just excellent at every position. Not one weakness. Logistically no way I can see MSU coming close to competing for four quarters
I can't wait till this weekend and seeing Spartan stadium filled with maize and blue!
Mike is seriously condoning violence and nobody is saying anything about this? This is horrible.
Please report the video as supporting and condoning violence.
The night game boasts even better for Michigan. I see a 30 point win
Possibly, I don't have high hopes for my team this year, but I do think they'll be better than last year.
@@putansug I think they’ll be about on par with last year. They lost their three top offensive players
