Sam was right to be angry. Jason tells her one thing then does the opposite. I mean, he can’t insist he wants a life with her in one breath then in the next say he won’t go away with her. He can’t say he loves her yet say he is not going to leave his friends behind so they can runaway together. Jason is being so incredibly selfish here, it's unbelievable. Also, he is taking Sam's loyalty for granted and what's worse is that by not being willing to walk away from everyone so they can be together, he is showing her that loyalty is not reciprocated. It's also saying to Sam that her loyalty and support is expected not appreciated. He's telling her that she as well as their relationship is not as high of a priority as is Carly, Sonny, and Michael. He'd rather stay in prison so he can be there for them and leave Sam alone. Actions speak louder than words and his inaction says that being with Sam isn't nearly as important to him as he tell her. Shame on him. Plus, he certainly can’t act like going back to prison isn’t that big of a deal when he’s potentially going to be there for 10 yrs. during which time, the feds could build a case against him for any or all of his organized crimes thus locking him away permanently. Also, by not running away with Sam, he's expecting her to be there for him by visiting him thus proving he's not thinking of her at all.
