Gosh this is nostalgic... The old liverys, the Pacers, Virgin Trains, I have been on trains my whole life, especially Pacers and 15x sprinters. Northern still haven't improved, the new 195s that run on my local line are nice but they mainly run 2-car sets, even during the commuter crush. 7:33 is a livery I saw a lot as a kid. I miss pacers to be honest, though I don't miss going from my local station to hull on one. For anyone wondering, my favorite train is the class 333, the fact they still use the same announcement voice is amazing, northern didn't change it when they changed everything else!
Its nostalgic for me too because my camera work is terrible and I've improved so much since! 😃 It is so sad that northern hasn't improved over the years since even with the 195s/331s. Thanks for watching Speckled 😊
Like @daislsDazed_ said this is very nostalgic! The first transpennine livery, the old super sprinters working the York - Blackpool service and the old northern Dusty bin and 333 livery’s At my local station now things are different, the york - Blackpool service was replaced with class 195 trains. I miss jumping on a class 158 super sprinter from my local station and going to Preston or Blackpool before blackpool was electric, you would approach blackpool seeing all the semaphore signals and signal box thinking that it would never change and it would be like this forever. However in 2018 the line was electrified and had all the Legacy features destroyed
Didn't realize they use Pacers for the Manchester Victoria - Leeds service. I've only ever been on the TPE 185's from Leeds - Manchester Piccadilly. I certainly wouldn't like to be sat on a Pacer for that amount of time. It's bad enough having to ride on them from Bolton - Salford Central which is only like a 13 minute journey.

This was filmed on my 10th birthday :D
Lots have changed at Leeds since then! I went more recently as well but not on your birthday this time Jack :(
@@StarlifeStudios I did see that video, but I'd thought I'd go on a little nostalgia trip. Thanks anyway
