It has been a blessing to be a long term fan of this man, I used to try to put people on to him, few actually gave him a chance. Growing older I realize that other people aren't always going to see the beauty in art as you do and you have to let people find it on their own. I'm a straight black male and when Mak came out I was so happy and proud of him because I already knew he was gay, IDGAF obv but it was taboo at the time to be a fan. From 2009 to 2016 I was living that life, the Sellin, Molly, white, psychedelics you name it, and alot of his songs mirrored my personal life but unlike the other trap artists at the time, Mak had an originality and energy in his voice/ flow that was different. It was beautiful man.
