    Sooo much simpler looking than the ******g command line, already wasted 3 days trying to figure THAT out and all the error messages! lol!

      Nevermind! Simple issue was that the checkbox on the top was not checked :'( ("pending files") I'm a beginner okay :'(

      It's gui based, git is command based.

    This video did not tell me how to add a new directory or file to source control, just how to modify an existing file. So after you clone your initial repository I need to add additional files to the repository on a branch.

      To add all files : Git add .
