@@ScrubsSwaggin The song itself has no real meaning since it's fiction, but i am able to read it because it uses a very similar (not exactly the same) grammar style and it more or less looks like how people would say their words in different dialects. one word for example is "sonnen" which means to sunbathe, but could be a dialect where instead of an "l" they move a bit towards an "n".

Waffentrenger is actualy a tank that is vastly made up by "wot". for a while it was an overpowered véhicule and it got deleted at some point. (Almost ten years ago) it finaly came back to the game with this event as a boss the player could control. With it come this ost.

That would then translate to english as roughly "hinder the strangers that are invading". Would turn the meaning of the song completely into a tale of desperate/total defense instead of one also dealing with defectors.

Waffentragen was a name for a developing program during mid 1943 to mount a powerfull anti-tank cannon on a lightly armored turreted vehicle, 3 companies participate on the program were Krupp, Rheinmetall, and Porche each made their own prototype but the program were cancelled in favor a cheaper turretless tank called Nashorn this song is referencing a made up tank inspired by the Waffentrager program that the World of Tank created called Waffentragen E-100, a tier 10 tank destroyer mounting a 6 clip auto-loader 12,8mm cannon, it was consider overpowered that it was removed entirely from the game, and a couple year it reappear on a limited time event and this song was made as the main theme
The fact that the Waffenträger was a tank makes this song a bit senseless because it means that their literally singing about a tank 😂 (good song though)

I like to fantasize that this is a modern Austro-Hungarian language. Which greatly mutated due to the assimilation of many Slavic peoples.
