doesn’t necessarily mean Xbox players will suddenly have an edge over dedicated PC gamers. The Ally runs Windows, meaning it’s more of a handheld gaming PC than a true Xbox console

You can obviously install the Steam desktop app, but if you want the OS, you would have to dual boot it.

This looks way more comfortable to hold than the ROG Ally, I have the ROG.
Literally the same exact device except this one has more expanded grips and an Xbox button. You can get a Rog Ally X today with all the functionality they are boasting here and can even buy after market grips if you want. Just sayin in case you didn't want to wait for this. Personally I like the aesthetic of the original ally x more too.
