Read this if you came back in the future, or jsut finished watching the vid,
    1. Learning is not a mental process, but a physical one. you're literally forming new neural connections. You'll learn how to make brain networks that last. If you put in the energy to create a mudhut, that's what you're gonna get. You can't cram 6 pack abs in a single night. You can't cram the night before, just like that.
    2. Your brain is a small universe. Even a fly has 20 * 10^6 connections. Human brain has about 10^14 synaptic connections. This number is stupidly big. Understand that changing this requires much more effort than you are probably giving in right now. You can adapt your universe for almost anything, if you understand what's going on and build the correct systems.
    3. Your universe is alive. Everything is moving in your head. You know about how you forget stuff over time. You need to convince your brain that the information is important, if you want to be able to retain it.
    4. If you really wanna remember stuff, make more connections, better roots for your info. Most info is implanted with intense study. You don't just remember the moves when you say you learned kung fu. You remember the moves because of everything you went through. It needs to be a database of your experiences. Info doesn't live in a vacuum (in your brain).
    5. You ignore feedback. Starcraft is a videogame like chess, but on steroids. The way an AI was created to beat the masters, wasn't by just inputting the best possible strategies in the AI. It was basically designed to be better than itself. You're also a patter recognition machine. You need lots of practice to understand what works and what doesn't.
    6. You don't stick with it. Your brain has the sheer computing power to do almost anything, but changing the 10^14 synaptic connections isn't an easy job.

I’m thinking about making a RUclips channel but I don’t know where to start learning the fundamentals. I’m also quite curious as to what type of doctor you are? There’s so many videos on how to edit right here on RUclips so you just have to get started and learn a new trick with each video! To answer your second question, I am an ER doc and it can be quite stressful. Making RUclips videos on the side has been a huge creative outlet for me and incredibly fun. Just a thank you. It may not be enough to be the energy to fuel an entire day, but something I think you deserve nonetheless. You're not the same person as the person prior having lived through a lifetime's worth of experience to gain the knowledge you have today.
Imagine you "uploaded" knowledge to your brain in order to learn a new skill. That knowledge was built on experiences (aka training data) that wasn't yours. How would you resolve the difference between your memories from the memories used in order to build up that knowledge? I can see why psychosis would be a strong possibility.
Even if it wasn't, what is the meaning of "me" at that point?

    ## Main Ideas
    - [00:00] 🧠 Learning is a physical process, emphasizing the importance of strong brain connections.
    - [03:00] 🌟 The human brain is exceptionally complex, with trillions of connections, akin to a million galaxies.
    - [06:14] 🔄 Learning necessitates constant adaptation as brain connections are dynamic and alive.
    - [07:35] 📚 Anchoring knowledge with experiences, not just memorization, is vital for retention.
    - [08:55] 🎮 Iterative practice and calibration are essential for effective learning, similar to AI improvement.
    - [10:34] 💔 Emotional factors such as insecurity and instant gratification can impede learning.

The one concept that changes how you learn forever, according to the video, is that learning is not merely a mental process but a physical one. It emphasizes the idea that learning involves the literal growth of new brain connections, determining the strength and flexibility of one's neural networks. This perspective shifts the understanding of learning from being purely cognitive to a process deeply rooted in the physical structure of the brain, highlighting the importance of building robust brain networks for effective learning.

Just joined your journey, undergraduate computer engineer here trying to start a business on the side. Do you think these same principles apply to the business world? If so, have you thought of starting a business yourself? Thanks!

Thanks awesome. Welcome! Very much so. I’ll be putting out videos on mindsets and frameworks key for all kinds of ventures. Running the self successfully is all our first “businesses” really. To answer your question, yes! Apart from growing on RUclips, starting a business is my next adventure
