you face the amp with the guitar also facing the amp, with enough gain or volume it should sound like this

You just want to put your distortion pedal in almost level 7 or 8, gain in 5 and tone if you like, you can eq it by ear
And that's it, face the pickups to the amp, and you will have that sound
