Just got to the end of the video - I've been in near enough every situation you described in this video and it took me back to all the emotions that I went through back then! Like you I learnt from the experiences and grew to love myself and I'm now in an almost 7 year relationship with my fiancé! Looking back I can't believe the treatment I stood for and chased now that I have experienced true love from someone who genuinely cares for me 🥰 this was such an in depth video and such good advice for young girls especially, the right one is out there. It just takes time 💕

just finished the video and damn did i need to hear all of this. Just ended a 2,5 year long situationship (that was actually a relationship on paper the last 6 months, but still didn’t feel like it, because he didn’t act like it). And well, just getting some perspective on all this and some real talk about how i need to value myself was truly needed
Am I the only one who doesn’t even feel connected after sleeping with a person? I don’t know, for me it’s like going on a walk or drinking a coffee together. And actually sometimes I also don’t really care that much about a person because I slept with them. Can anybody relate?

thanks for the advice! however relationships aren't just a "yin yang" of masculine and feminine energy, and "masculine energy wears the pants" is just reinforcing the stereotype of the submissive woman. i know you didn't mean to reinforce sexist standards and i actually do understand what you're saying, but non-heterosexual relationships (and for the record, a lot of straight couples too) sit outside of this phenomenen you describe and maybe both parties are femme and identify as women- doesn't mean the lack of 'masculine energy' condemns them to failure!!
