Antiphon 'Fundatus' composed by Filippo Bugeja 1873, and was performed at the feast of St. George, Qormi. This Antiphon was modified by Vincenzo Bugeja for the feast of St. Sebastian, Qormi after the Cappella Bugeja was dismissed from St. George. The modified Antiphon is not the same one performed at St.George, because in the early 20th Century part of it was censored by the Canon Law known as the 'Moto Proprio', like other sacred music of various composers, Maltese & foreigners. Today the Antiphon is based on Choral singing only, without the Solo Tenor, and the alleluia passage.
