Sir, I am also from Surat and my home is just in front of Madhi ni Khamani place near Prime Arcade.
I am following so many food vlogs but never never commented on you tube. This is my 1st time comment on youtube as I am so glad you visited Surat for food. I am in USA and did not visit my hometown from last 5 years.
In my school days I used to eat this Khamani at 5 am in morning everyday and Jalaram khichadi regularly. Jalaram Khichadi owner had 1 small lari on the road in those days and now he become a good owner of big Khichadi Restaurant. I watched all your Guj visit videos and I am craving for all those amazing veg food. I been to most of places you visited in Guj and all those foods are so delicious. Finally that Rasawala Khaman owner's son is my childhood friend and ate those khaman free of cost once a week too :)

Being born and raised in London in a Gujarati family that moved from Saurastra in the early 70’s I regret not growing up in my mother land but still I appreciate being a Gujarati also I hadn’t heard of Surat until I met my husband. It’s nice that whenever we go to India we go to Surat for sure as he grew up there and of course his family is there as well. Thank you for sharing your experience in Surat and the rest of Gujarat with us here it’s very much appreciated 🙏🏼

Kansaar is the best place in Surat to have Gujarati thali. Yoy will first of all fall in love with shape of Thali itself and thr the way they serve.

Surat ka bahut hi sara famous food aapne miss kar diya Dumas na tameta bhjiya, Surati mutton tapelu,fry chicken, Surati kabab,lila lasan nu kachu, Surati khira puri vapas jarurr aayega aapke videos dekhna matalab sari place gumlena . Keep it up 👍

Enjoyed this episode immensely, Harish Bhai. I am Kathiawari on my father's side, and my paternal ancestors come from Rajkot, Junagadh, Wankaner and Gondal. Many of these dishes used to me bade at my parents' place when my grandmother was alive. Good to see you enjoying great food.

I like this episode. I am new and commenting first time. Sir agar aapko real Kathiyavadi food taste karna hai to Rajkot and near places visit karna chahiye. Sirf waha aapko pure kathiyavadi taste milega. Baki jagah taste me difference aa hi jata hai. And kathiyavadi food tikha rehta hai and usme sugar nahi daalte.
