My parents got divorced this year and to top it off my mom just announced that we’re moving in a few months so that means leaving the house I grew up in. I’m so sorry for your loss. @ I haven’t seen the new house yet but my mom said it has a finished basement that I can use for my art studio/study, and it’s near the water which will help my asthma. I’m just super attached to my current house 😅 it’ll be kind of weird moving somewhere just me and my mom but I’ve always wanted to live near the shore

The holidays are going to be hard but it will get a bit easier as you work through your grief. I know it's hard but please work though it don't push it down. It will only hurt you. Surround yourself with as much family as you can it will help. It's been nearly 2 years since my mom and I have been crying once a day since Thanksgiving because it helps.
