Yes, this live version is brilliant and beautiful. What I love the most is the background instrumental during the break of the lyrics. Not sure if it is steel guitar or not, but it sounds smoother and more ethereal on the live version. Amazing!

After her divorce and recent break up with her bf, you can tell this album would be full of meaningful lyrics. Almost like she said F the catchy chorus’ and let me write how I feel. Almost like poetry. I love it. It’s singer-songwriting at its best
I heard her on this morning talk show say she was envisioning this as a restful album. She said “l’ll give the kids their bop”, but that this album was less for dancing and more restful because according to her, “the gays can sit down and hydrate during this one.” 😂😂

I heard the song a few times and really liked it. Then I watched this version with the lyrics and realized what a masterpiece it is. It's such a simple melody, but the lyrics are poetry. GENIUS.
People out here drooling over Cowboy Carter but Miss Kacey Musgraves is making some real heart and soul music. I really find the concept of "Deeper Well' interesting, cosmic and thought-provoking and an album that is quite a breath of fresh air in terms of her lyrics all while packaged in a palatable and listenable record for everybody.
I saw her at Floore's Country Store with Willie right after her first album released. She told the crowd if they bought her CD Willie would smoke them out after the show. Got a huge laugh
At least you have plenty to enjoy from her now. I’ve known her music since the start, but it’s nice to have more to listen to instead of waiting on the edge of a seat to see what comes next❤️
Kacey is one of the reasons I haven't fully given up on country music as a whole. What a beautiful song. I thought Rainbow was my favorite by her, but this is up there.
