Just found your channel and subscribed immediately. The 20 is the best shoe I’ve ever played in (I’ve been playing for over 35 years), skipped the 21. Loving the 22 aesthetically, might give them a try. Enjoyed the video, you should touch on the cushioning set up a bit. Peace and respect from Japan.
THANK YOU!!! I agree, I definitely should've at least mentioned the set up (same as the 21) just for informational purposes so people knew. Personally, I make buying decisions for sneakers sometimes based on whether or not they have zoom lol. Thank you again!!
@ At my age, Zoom Air cushioning is the standard. However, I also often play in the New Balance TWO WXY V4, fantastic cushioning. Lastly, I took the full length Zoom Air drop in midsole from the Zion 3 SE and put it in my Kobe 9 Elite HALO. Phenomenal combo.
@ma76bball68 speaking my language!! I had an idea of a performance review for the OG Kobe 8 with my LeBron 11 drop in (FULL LENGTH ZOOM AND FULL LENGTH LUNAR!). I have a thumbnail and outline just not sure what the interest will be. I'm in the bball shoes subreddit and that's a common thing I've seen; Zion 3 drop in with the Kobe 8/9 protro. Might have to give it a try based on feedback and maybe a video. But I'm right there with you... Zoom is everything, FULL LENGTH ZOOM is S-tier imo. Based on my size age and weight, zoom really helps with longevity, bounce and recovery.
@thereviewed damn so the forefoot cushioning isn’t any bouncier, plush, or soft than the 21s? Also how’s the fit/lockdown and fit? (Not sure if u mentioned it in this video but it’s playing right now in the background and it’s still at the beginning as I type this)
@zoesh2441 Ill be playing in them Saturday but based on casual wear they feel exactly like the 21s, which is a bit more firm than the 20s. It's pretty much the same set up though, top loaded zoom in the forefoot and bottom loaded in the heel. They're chunky units so they offer a lot of protection and are very noticeable under foot if that makes sense. But definitely comparable to the 21 in firmness. From a lockdown perspective, they feel like they'll be ok. Commenters in the LeBron 21 video talked about chafing from the collar and how it dug into their ankles, I think it will probably be a similar fit and lockdown to the 21.
Agreed! I ended up with like 4-5 different colorways of the 20s... Just a great shoe. The 21s I have in a couple colorways but I liked what they did with the zoom, it was more firm which I ended up enjoying more on the court. I have a feeling the 22s will carry most of what the 21s did well. If it ain't broken don't fix it.
Thank you!! So for the one on the top shelf go here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2QSPXRJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and for the small counter/clock go here: www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXX91TY5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
100% I'm excited for the colorways. The blacklight one is a really nice one. Not too fond of the monopoly colorway though but we'll, it's just the beginning. But the 20s and 21s were really really good.
Lebron XXI has been a disaster for me. Firstly I tried the Queen Conch model and the outer layer seemed to be a very poor quality material which started scrapping off without any interference of outside factors (2 pairs the same issue). Then I tried the Grey ones which seemed to be made of a more durable outer material although the midsole got scratched just after one training session and after 2 weeks and a couple of more sessions I noticed the tip of the left shoe started peeling off which is ridiculous. Worst shoes I have ever had, although the performance itself felt good in them.
Hello, I’m a 6 ft 4, 106kg SF/PF I’ve been looking at the Jordan 38 Highs, the Nike Gt Jump Force 2 and The Puma MB03, Lebron 22s I’m a bit of a jack of all trades, I can drive, I can ball handle and I get in the paint as well, I would say I do make a lot of fast movements and i’m less of a slow- in the paint guy, more like a giannis type of player, what shoes would you reccomend for me? I have wide feet too, if you or anyone else could give me a recommendation out of the four then if you want to add another reccomendation of a good shoe that would be fine too. Thanks!
Hello! Unfortunately I've only played in the LeBron 22 so I don't have an opinion on any of the shoes you listed. Based on the reviews I've watched on them, they all sound solid, more specifically the MB03 have gotten lots of positive feedback. My personal recommendations based on your play style; the Sabrina 2 is low to the ground, has probably the best traction I've experienced in a long time and really performs well for most positions and styles. It's my default shoe to be perfectly honest. If I'm testing, I will bring those with me in case what I'm testing isnt working out. Another one that really caters to different body types and play styles is the Serious Players Only Player 1 Plus (any of their shoes are held in high regard but I've only played in the P1P). They offer drop in midsoles that are in a way intended to match your play style (softer with more cushioning for bigs or lower to the ground with a firmer setup for shifter players). I made a video on the different drop ins if you'd like to take a watch but those are two that come to mind immediately for your play style. Lastly, the Harden Vol 8 is a decent choice too. It offers a good mix of low profile cushioning while also being supportive. Traction is fantastic and they're good for lots of play styles.
@@thereviewdso i wear a 9.5 and I have the 21 and they definitely fit snug in the toe box so for the 22s your saying I wouldn’t have to go up to a 10 I should be able to get a 9.5 in those?
When he pulled the tongue to his shin I knew we weren’t getting a lifestyle a look. Sheesh! I’m no closer to understanding how these might look on feet.
Yeah this and the monopoly colorway are a bit out there. There's a blacklight colorway that looks like the Miami nights colorways from before that I really like.
@@thereviewd Yeah, I'll wait until next year when most of the colors are out. I luckily waited for months for the 21's and got the queen's conch. My fav of the lineup.
@smudg39 honestly that's a good strategy, I got my 21s for like $70 so I was happy. These will probably sit if I'm guessing so it'll be inevitable that pricing gets a bit better.
I appreciate the feedback. I've been trying different things to be as authentic as possible while also sticking to the point, doing my best not to ramble. I appreciate it!

@@thereviewd np man. the one thing that made me comment this was when you went over the weight of the shoe but didn't compare it to the previous model. thats some key information some people are looking for
@matthewskullblood9778 absolutely valid and helpful. I think it's a good point of comparison (for the record and interestingly they weigh about the same...from what I can recall they both weigh about 17oz). But I always worry about going into too much detail and losing people so I'll keep this in mind. I appreciate it!!
If there's anything you'd like to know or if there's anything I missed please leave a comment!! Thanks for watching!
so leborn 22 is indoor or outdoor
@Hayden-yu1cs preliminarily I'd say both. The rubber seems to be durable enough to handle outdoor courts and indoor should be just fine.
@@thereviewd ok thx
@@thereviewdpointed toes. Made only for lebalco's foot shape. complete Trash for me
Could you please tell me how the traction is??? The sale's due date is tomorrow. So I really want to know!!!

The lenron 22s are one of his best looking shoes he's had in a while
I really really like them. I love the classic big loud designs.
I’ve been waiting to see a vid on these thanks bro
Thank YOU!!
Sweet that the price went down from 200-180$ new sub 👏
I agree and thank you so much!!!
Nice preview video!
Thank you!!!
I love these
Same!!
That's an Ortholite insole. A nice upgrade.
I noticed it as I was editing, didn't seem particularly plush or anything but at least it's an ortholite.
Great review. Also, what is that clock in the background? Looks cool
Thank you so much! Here it is; a.co/d/gl3k3dB
Thanks dawg
dope one guys
These are freaking heavy when I held it
Where is your big toe in the shoe? Is there a little bit of space in the front? Does it fit like the 21 with all of the padding?
There's a little space in front of my big toe, they definitely aren't reaching the front of the shoe.
It wasn't the collar that dug in, it was the laces running across your ankle
I gotcha, yeah I heard a lot of that feedback.
I don’t like these as much as the 20 and 21 which were bangers but they’ll grow on me eventually. It’s all going to come down to colorways

Should upsize or stay the original???🙏🏻🙏🏻
Definitely stay with your true size. If you want a lot of room, half size up from your normal size.
Sizing comparison to the 20, 21 and Nxxt Gen line?
20 and 21 I go up 1/2 size but Nxxt Gen is TTS for me.
Definitely comparable to the NXXT Gen, based on casual wear, definitely TTS. I felt like the 20 and 21 were a little less forgiving in the toe box.

Both i think

Yeah I'm a little weird with that, I will usually pull the tongue so there isn't any bunching on the instep or anything.
I will say, my wife actually liked them on foot which is saying a lot. I personally really really like the side profile of the shoe.
@@thereviewd me too. I’m going to have to see if there’s any in store to try on. I’m on the fence still.
These are better than , 21, 20's for me haves more of an Lebron origin. The 20's was more Kobe like.
100% agree!! I feel like this is moving away from a LeKobe and more of a classic Bron shoe.
