Lethal nailed this! I loved the books and then they did the series which was also awesome. Lethal completely captured the IP with this. I get the palette design is bulky, etc. but when I saw the sneak peeks I was screaming for the palette to be the slide box. As long as the quality is there, I think Lethal knocked this out of the park. This is going to be dificult for me to resist as a fan of the show and colors. ❤❤

Love this collection. I will definitely own this one if I get to it fast enough and Lord's will. You are right it's Lila sounds like lie. You did this palette justice, so did lethal. The Smokey eye, red lip and black and white shirt is just perfection on you. This collection is super cool, the colourstory reminds me a little bit of the Melt Muerte palette, it has similar vibes and I saw the colours of the nail polishes and they look so pretty. the only thing that I don’t like about it is the palette opening and yes, I get that for the fans it resembles something from the show, but I think it should also be usable as a makeup item which is the primary purpose and they could have done the opening from the longer side or at least not put the mirror in if it’s not usable at all, there is no way anyone can hold it comfortably 😂 and it could have been couple of € cheaper without it
Dexter is one of my favourite TV shows, I still like to watch the first four seasons from time to time, but I think this idea is completely crazy. Let me put some Trinity Killer in my inner corner, Doomsday in the outer corner and Rita all over the lid. Or blend the Ice Truck Killer with Sergeant Doakes for a smooth finish. 🤣🤣🤣 Jesus Christ. Also, I noticed that YT creators and reviewers haven't seen the show, haha... I try not to be surprised any more.
Adore both your looks! The red one is so wearable, proving that red doesn't have to be full glam or an insane shock of colour. I think I'm skipping the palette (so chunky to store & I already have black-grey-red-plus-light-shimmer palettes), but the highlighter and lip products are stunning. Might pick up Spellcraft with them instead of the Dexter palette.

The blood splatter shade reminds me of the Unearthly Just a Taste highlighter, Gory Glow. I don’t think this collection is for me but I love that you shared it!!
I really like(d) Dexter, but I'm gonna skip cuz reds and oranges are just not my thing. I pretty much thought it would be an easy skip for me, and it is and that's OK!!! Love the looks you made!
I do not like red makeup in general. Especially red eyeshadow or lip colors. Rarely I’ll do a red blush or eyeliner. But this collection is so well done. Really cute. I realize the packaging is kind of bulky and you don’t like it that much for utilitarian purposes but speaking from the perspective of someone has a degree in laboratory medicine and works in a medical lab it really is quite accurate. I chose to work in a hospital setting but my degree/licebse also allows me to work in forensics if I wanted to. We needed to pick where we wanted to do internships and specialize and I was tempted by forensics but ended up choosing hospital stat lab instead. The biggest reason is that for legal/court reasons when you work in forensics/crime lab you are constantly monitored on camera and often locked in and have to sign billions of chain of custody forms the minute your hands touch a sample and the potential to get dragged into court is high. That’s too much of a hassle for me. Dexter is one of those shows I had a hard time watching because everything is too fake. That being said slide boxes we use to store blood smears on microscope slides is thick just like that only a bigger and the buckle closure is identical. The only thing that could’ve made it better is having the shadows in an accurate shape of a blood push smear with the “feathered edge” and having the little metal label holder thing on the top to have the name of the palette. And yes the bottle for the “luminol” is also super close. I have to give them props. I think it is super creative really cute and on theme. If I liked red makeup I’d totally get it. So cute!
Ohhh.. my.. goodness... 😮 Does this collection remind anyone else of Charlotte Tilbury's uber cringe-worthy fake crime scene release when they were trying to throw shade at Elf ( ..I think they were lippies?). Anyway, I say all that to also point out that it would definitely behoove CT to pay attention and take notes bc this is a crime/police themed release actually done right! And lastly, just wanted to once again, offer my compliments to both of the absolutely stunning eye looks (the rest of the face is just as stunning, but eye looks are my favorite parts about doing makeup). Ngl, I always feel a twinge of jealousy when I see someone in a red look. Simply bc personally, I can't pull one off. I've tried about every hue of red (without it turning into pink) that I could get my hands on and it never looks right. I just look sick 😂 Anyway, hope your shoulder/arm feel better soon and that your upcoming weekend is a great one for you and the fam!! Oh, and so sry for the novel!! Imma yapper, through and through. Well, no. Just no. I don't get the fetishizing of murderers we have in our current zeitgeist and this is YET AGAIN another red/black palette. The IP was rocky at best, predictable at it's worst.
