So they better live up to standard, otherwise I'm gonna go cry in the corner about wasting my food allowance for the next month! So please enjoy my suffering as I review the Nicker and Poster paint set from Studio Ghibli and paint&chat with me if you'd like.

Nicker poster color is basically super fancy gouache. Your treehouse came out beautifully, looks like the perfect place to teach magic or something.

As soon as I saw the tree house I had to give this video a thumbs up! And it came out so well great job!
Also Your feelings around digital art are so relatable, especially because computer technology is so heavily used now

Thank you! And yes it's so hard to think anyone would want to hire a traditional artist

Now, I already know this painting is going to be gorgeous in the end result, BUT GOODNESS THE PROCESS WAS SUCH A TREAT TO WATCH! Plus your commentary is great to listen to as the piece is being creating.
Also I can get behind feeling that imposter syndrome when it comes to making your pieces. Literally was making a small artwork for fun, but immediately disliking it as time goes on. So I decided to step back for a moment and have a break and do it in tomorrow, that is today. And looking at it back again, it's not as bad as I thought in my head- 😅
Like I said, IMMACULATE PAINTING! DETAILS ARE JUST *CHEF KISSES* Great use of the Ghibli Watercolors! 👏🤧✨💛💜💛💜💛💜💛✨

Awww!! Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback and your comments just make me smile! I was trying something new! It was crunching so hard to get this video done today and I want to incorporate more paint with me videos. This year I created barely any artwork. Next year will be better!

Hullo Ruby, I truly enjoyed watching your video and believe you know there are so many more options for artists today who want to work traditionally, now in 1995 choices were much more limited! I had to learn how to work digitally or I simply was not hired! I hope you have a chance to try gouache and use a good or better quality paint! Notice that I did not say expensive but quality! I love DaVinci Paints of California they are a full service paint company. I purchased watercolors from them first and branched out trying other mediums and very reasonable prices too! I know I sound like a zealot, but I am just a real fan! I hope to watch more videos from you and your channel, good luck!

Thank you! I will definitely need to check out those paints. I need to test out my ohuhu paints and I appreciate the comment and support! I've been so busy with making art I haven't made a full length video!
