These sound even better with an amp.... There are also pedals like preemps... There's a couple where you can make your own IRs of your actual guitar... It can sound basically like a mic'd guitar when it's done right
Please answer, do you recommend this for fingerpicking with lot of artificial harmonics, and while performing for large audience ? Waiting for your response
That comes down to budget. If you have the means I’d recommend an LR Baggs Anthem which I have in my new Gibson. It’s wonderful but very expensive. If your budget is more modest then this will work ok. Guitar body percussion is very loud through this pick up.
Thanks for your input, I agree. I still prefer the sound of this guitar with the SBT to my Epiphone which is factory equipped with the Shadow eSonic2 (blenable Magnetic and Piezo pickups). This SBT benefits greatly from EQ.

what is difference between this and JourneyTek EP004K?
Waiting for your response 🙏
EP004K is for classical guitars and has 4 elements. The EP001k has 3 elements and is for steel string guitars. Hope this helps.
Mic sounds great, SBTs not so much.
