@@clave2049lol NO. VERY BIG NO. Giant NO. ASUS fix lot of issues I mean hdr1000 dimming /overall dimming, and from this moment MSI is a waste. Again: I own this monitor and this is absolutely waste money, time, nerves
Dear Author! dear friends! Hi. I have this monitor. Please pay attention to important things that for some reason no one is talking about (the first one is VERY important): 1. If you look at the screen of this monitor directly, as usual, the colors are not very strong, but noticeably dimmer than if viewed from angles. This is very important and annoying, because when you approach the monitor, the colors are brighter and when you sit down at it, they get darker. This is probably a flaw in the matrix that can hardly be fixed programmatically. On the first point: I consider this unacceptable for a monitor in this price category. He's not worth his money. 2. Night vision in the AI position - in games with a top view (Dota 2 for example) - especially if you move the camera away with the mouse wheel on the replay - when you move the screen, light vertical stripes moving in the direction of the screen movement are clearly visible. 3. Indeed, the HDR 1000 greatly reduces the overall brightness to an unacceptable level. Good luck to everyone
That almost guaranteed a cable issue. My aw3423dwf did the same thing (Samsung panel). Seems the connection wasn't great and unplugging and reinserting the dp cable while it's running completely fixed it. HDR also wouldn't enable when I had this issue. Was random black screen for a few seconds every half hour or so.
Hey. My asus rog swift pg32ucdm has some vrr flickering in some scenarios. Firstly, I tried capping my fps to something I can maintain. I noticed, that if the framerate is close to the lfc of the monitor, it will flicker like crazy because the fps of the VRR jump up and down rapidly. Only fix for this is-> more or less fps around that border. But in Forza horizon 5, with 120 fps capped and stable frametime and framerate (graph) there is flickering all over the fitting of the car (like a supra mk4). How does that happen? And how can I fix this? (Tried it on two different PCs) Do you guys know, if the new "oled flicker free" feature from the new asus rog 27 Inch monitor comes to the pg32ucdm? If you know how to fix that flickering in Forza and other games... Please feel free to message me here. Have a nice day!
@@marquislafeyette4543 yes I updated the firmware to 103. Did you test Forza horizon 5? In Cyberpunk2077 there is some little flickering in really dark areas. You have to focus on it if you're not sensitive to it. Like at night in a really dark area with for example stones, rocks, bushes, the street or the fitting in your car. Had the alienware aw3225qf with flickering as well but it was a lot more noticeable than the asus one. A big thing is the lfc (at 56 fps). Some games like avatar frontiers of pandora on 4k with unobtainium settings are to close to this border. And if it activates itself, it will flicker extremely because the VRR framerate gets doubled and jumps back to normal rapidly.
Just turn VRR off. It's honestly not necessary on OLED. You'd be surprised. I'm playing Hellblade 2 at 70fps with it off and haven't noticed tearing at all and I was super sensitive to it on IPS and VA.
@@MrDutch1e I know that it's less than on IPS or VA, but I want to use it. And I paid for it so it's not an acceptable solution to turn it off. If everyone thinks like you (not offense) the companies won't change anything. I'll test it a little bit more in other games and I'll see how it performs. However have a nice day!
@@Kaudrag33 I don't see a reason to run it tbh. I haven't seen a single tear line in like 2 hours of hellblade 2. I'm literally looking for it to. Like its a non issue and there's no reason to run VRR other than tearing. I thought I'd notice it right away but didn't at all. I normally run it off because I'm playing COD at 250+ fps anyways where you'd expect it to be less noticeable. Honestly just try it.
I’m very very close to pulling the trigger on an OLED. Just chasing a QDOLED that can reach 300nits. Get me that and I’ll really start thinking about a buy.
I opt to get this vice the ASUS OLED monitor due to I have moved away from ASUS brand after the Gamer's Nexus viral video about the extortion that ASUS attempted.
I returned the mag version of this because it’s literally impossible to hide the cables from hanging down below the monitor. It’s so stupid how low they put them and I’m not trying to buy right angle adaptors just to make it work.
it does have a bit of gamer look… It is literally a gaming monitor that should not be used for anything else. As far as I know, you have a three year burnin warranty but they change your panel only once then your burnin warranty is over. Also they may change it with a refurbished one not necessarily with a brand new panel. Yes it looks excellent, perfect colors, unbelievably fast response time etc but it feels like a scam to me.
@@dhuranwtf sure, but it's way more obvious on QD OLED panels, than on WOLED. It's really distracting! It really gives you a headache! Only fixed fps /VSync helps out - pretty crappy.

It checks most of the boxes for me, but it’s a shame the body feels so cheap and low-budget. For a premium product, they really should have put in more effort. There’s a difference between a clean, minimal look and just looking cheap. Plus, it’s £200 more than the Alienware 3225QF and £100 more than the new Samsung S80G80SD in some places, like the UK.
Yeah best OLED as long as you can get one. Fortunately for you RUclipsrs that review tech you get to have one for free and sent by the manufacturer itself. Us regular people who literally want to give MSI our money for this product, we can't purchase it because is no where to be found, or better said PAPER LAUNCH. OR MSI is regretting lowering the price and are about to do something really anti-consumer, such as changing the model name and raise the price, seeing that people area willing to pay $1300 for the Asus one.
The alienware is not without its flaws. Have they even ironed out all the issues yet because people were sending them back like crazy according to reddit. Basically, the dw with dldsr and dlss outputs better quality than washed out qf at 4k.

DIsplay guy I've been wanting to buy a 27 inch 1440p oled monitor. I don't know anything about monitors could you give me the best option. I don't have a budget
The MSI 360 hz or gigabyte 360 hz are probably the best options
@@Epitome_ How about the alienware one, msi is 500 more than that and gigabyte 200 more idk which to get.
@@samtheham3187 oh i thought u were in the US. here the MSI one is like 750 usd. Just get the alienware if its the cheapest available
alienware msi or gigabyte, whichever is cheapest. they are all good. but the 360 qd oleds are far superioor to last gens w oled. the w oleds arent bright enough and matte screen is bad
@@samtheham3187Dell still has a lot of stock kicking around with old packaging so it could come scratched. Worth a try but if it comes scratched I'd just return and buy the next closest in price. If your first one is scratched your 2nd one likely will be to. My 2nd one was even after Dell guaranteed me it would be new packaging. It wasn't lol.
i was gonna get this or the aorus fo32u2p. the aorus was in stock so i got that instead rather than having to wait. some things i like about the aorus one more: the design without the stupid dragon gamer look at the back of the monitor which in my setup can be seen because my desk isn't against a wall. also in general it seems to get ever so slightly brighter.
How do you mod the s90c for more brightness?
Well in uk £1200 as the Asus or the LG the alienware 970 tho
I ordered this back in April, still on back order…
$1485 USD in Australia 🤬🤬
$1282 USD on Sale 👎👎
Starting price in USA = $950 USD 👀👀
Would love to see more indepth samples of text clarity
is it matte or glossy
Glossy
Kinda wish more monitors would give you a SRGB 2.0/2.2 gamma setting like ASUS does :/
just get windows icc profile gamma 2.2
Yeah it’s my favorite thing about my PG32UCDM.
I still can't decide between this MPG 321URX QD-OLED and Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM. Especially HARD on/off, cause on some monitors no differences at all like recent Samsung OLED 32 G8.
msi
@@clave2049lol NO. VERY BIG NO. Giant NO. ASUS fix lot of issues I mean hdr1000 dimming /overall dimming, and from this moment MSI is a waste. Again: I own this monitor and this is absolutely waste money, time, nerves
@@bgpsbgps1 i have no issues
What size monitor is this???
31.5
Dear Author! dear friends! Hi. I have this monitor. Please pay attention to important things that for some reason no one is talking about (the first one is VERY important):
I wonder if it randomly goes black like my samsung 49in OLED
That almost guaranteed a cable issue. My aw3423dwf did the same thing (Samsung panel). Seems the connection wasn't great and unplugging and reinserting the dp cable while it's running completely fixed it. HDR also wouldn't enable when I had this issue. Was random black screen for a few seconds every half hour or so.
Got the Gigabyte FO32U2P since i couldnt get my Hands on the MSI. And the MSI isnt as cheap in EU as in NA. Kinda sad.
where did u get it?
0.0000001 second gap between voice clips is very annoying to listen to.
Go ahead and send that over to me buddy ol pal ! These monitors have been out of stock since they "released" ... :(
(Tried it on two different PCs)
Do you guys know, if the new "oled flicker free" feature from the new asus rog 27 Inch monitor comes to the pg32ucdm?
If you know how to fix that flickering in Forza and other games... Please feel free to message me here.
Have a nice day!
I wonder if it's a unit issue. Did you already update the firmware on the monitor? Mine has had 0 VRR flicker.
Honestly just try it.
its 1,559 EURO in Ireland :(
That a tad higher than here in Norway and that says a lot!
I’m very very close to pulling the trigger on an OLED. Just chasing a QDOLED that can reach 300nits. Get me that and I’ll really start thinking about a buy.
What happened to the cheating version? Feel like I've heard nothing about it
I opt to get this vice the ASUS OLED monitor due to I have moved away from ASUS brand after the Gamer's Nexus viral video about the extortion that ASUS attempted.
Can’t really beat the MSI for its price. Unless you just want to get fancy then spend 500$ more for Asus ROG or LG.
but is it glossy?
yes
I returned the mag version of this because it’s literally impossible to hide the cables from hanging down below the monitor. It’s so stupid how low they put them and I’m not trying to buy right angle adaptors just to make it work.
I got the non firmware update version
I decided to buy the Neo G8 because it was 50% off
Very happy with my purchase the blacks look very black even though its mini led
it does have a bit of gamer look… It is literally a gaming monitor that should not be used for anything else.
It is a scam ,u are basically paying for the second monitor when u buy the first one
@tazboy1934 how are you basically paying fir the second monitor?
Same QD-OLED panel, same problems.
horrible VRR flicker on all QD OLED monitors..
I like how monitor reviews don't mention VRR flickering much. And this is a problem for all OLED monitors. I'd say it's a major downside.
@@dhuranwtf sure, but it's way more obvious on QD OLED panels, than on WOLED. It's really distracting! It really gives you a headache! Only fixed fps /VSync helps out - pretty crappy.
why i dont feel this problem on msi oled 2k screen
For me the Alienware is much cheaper and a amazing monitor.
Yeah, this monitor in my region is $1700, the most expensive one.
So guy if you had to buy once like most of us here and most of us play cod lol...
Which one really msi or asus.
You may be not able to say 😅
I consider myself lucky I got this. There were only 4 in stock nation-wide 2 weeks ago, I even paid the extra $50 shipping. By the time it arrived 7 days later, they're all sold out!
It checks most of the boxes for me, but it’s a shame the body feels so cheap and low-budget. For a premium product, they really should have put in more effort. There’s a difference between a clean, minimal look and just looking cheap.
Plus, it’s £200 more than the Alienware 3225QF and £100 more than the new Samsung S80G80SD in some places, like the UK.
its $2200 in Australia 💀
I would rather buy the lgc4 42in
Yeah best OLED as long as you can get one.
$950 is agressive price? it costs $1650 in Russia now xDDD
already sold out 😅
In the US its cheap yeah, here in the EU its 1399 EURO!!!!
So many great monitors you will never be able to buy.
Crap you need a 2000€ 4090.... sweetspot 1440P
No dolby vision no go. Seams the best one is still the Alienware. Asus I will not buy for a promised update feature.
The alienware is not without its flaws. Have they even ironed out all the issues yet because people were sending them back like crazy according to reddit. Basically, the dw with dldsr and dlss outputs better quality than washed out qf at 4k.
Dolby vision has no support on PC, why buy a 240hz monitor for TV shows/movies???
Noone cares my guy. You're buying the wrong display for DV movie watching lol DV support doesn't mean shit if the display is doing HDR 400. just get a damn TV wtf 😂
With the same price as ASUS and Gigabyte version in rest of the world why would you buy this, looks horrible design wise.
keep dreaming budy. Add 600 dollars to that price and face cruel reality in rest of world
out of stock everywhere. impossible to buy
Nope. The Best is from Gigabyte !!
Annoyingly it's £1300 ($1650) in the UK.
QD oled and glossy "best oled" lmao. Why does this channel still exist.
whats better? the matte w oleds are disgusting
OLed is trash tech, sorry
