The reason the puphead phase in Pyramid Peril doesnt work is that there is a secret boss there. if you shrink as the plane you fight an alternate version.But since there is no plane the game constantly tries to see the plane's state (shrunk/big).
Then it just looks like Djimmi has a sore neck.

@@Kittygames50 it might be because chalice isn't getting sucked in so the game doesnt know what to do. Or it might be because of the general use of hacking tools
That means In the legacy version it will work normally
@@WM_Nonsense legacy as in unhacked or hacked, its because of the no-plane hack
The weapons of the plane deal much more damage to bosses than normal weapons and therefore to balance the bosses of the plane levels have much more life than a normal boss
This is why it took so long to defeat them
THAT'S why supers charge so quickly in plane levels
The plane bullets do the same damage as peashooter (4)

@@boobyegg2135 Yes, but compared to the peashooter the plane shoots faster and almost always hits the enemies
Peashooter has 30 DPS (Damage per second)
Plane's bullets has 40 Dps

I cant believe they even animated her fingers moving as the balls of air move through the vacuum, the attention to detail really is amazing

6:19 When I (and most other people) play this boss, "Ride of the Valkyries" part of the song always comes right at the second/third phase with the little bird and spinning eggs. I don't know why, but it just fits into that part so perfectly!😉
This video made me realize how useful having a boss health bar on the screen would be

It would remove the entire purpose of what fights are meant to be in the game. Sure it's useful put not knowing adds a lot to the satisfaction when actually defeating a boss

The reason they dont let you see the boss health until you die in the fight is to keep you on your toes.
You dont really know when the boss will be knocked out, even during its final phase, your basically searching for that knock out screen (which i love how they tricked players in one of the DLC bosses because of that)
Maybe it should be obtainable by doing something like getting an s rank on 5 bosses

This is a very interesting way to battle the airplane bosses, dejimmis puppet phase is bugged, fighting dr khal looks like it would be more of a challenge without the airplane.
I’m pretty sure dejimmi’s puppet phase is glitched because if you become a small airplane while he’s reading your mind it puts you in a secret phase.
Cala Maria is probably the only one that can be turned to a normal boss fight if they tweeked it a bit

Game can't understand which phase to use, cuz it can't read if you small or not

I was so worried about what wally's fight would be like without the plane... that I completely forgot about the coral, in the last phase of cala maria's fight *STILL* having a hitbox... that's rought buddy.
My first girlfriend turned into the moon
Could you potentially beat that phase by going into it with enough HP (including from Chalice's ability, which potentially lets you store 2 HP if you have one active and another ready to go) and killing her quickly while getting hit each time the mercy invincibility wears off?

If Dr khal's last phase didn't have those electric walls and his laser in phase 1 was slimmed down this would genuinely be a fun non-plane boss fight
for Djimmi the great, at the end where he doesn’t attack, he’s not glitched he simply wants to meditate :)
9:05 I didn't even know there is a little pause before the music loops. They probably didn't expect anyone to stall these bosses for so long that the music would ever need to be looped.😂
Thought the Robot would be way harder than Calamaria, but the fight even before the coral reef segment sure looked much more chaotic.

Not getting hit until the end + divine relic (3 extra lives by parrying) + other 3 extra lives (Djimmi spin) + 2nd super art and you can surely beat Cala Maria. Pretty hard, but possible.
I mean, maybe. But you deal way less damage than with the plane, so I am not sure if it's theoretically possible. But if, yeah, it would be very hard to pull off.
I'd bet it's possible especially if you used the shotgun for max DPS on her last phase
there was a invincible chalice glitch so you could beat cala maria with that
I feel like Cala Maria is possible, with spred and charge with heart ring. If that isn’t long enough then use super art 2 to help. I’ll try this
Even with all of that I think It still being impossible because the normal bullets as you could see in the entire video makes lesser damage than the plane bullets, but idk may be a pro tryhard find a way to make it possible
potentially you could use game djimmi with heart ring and then get 9hp

I feel like Cala Maria would make a good ground boss if the graphics weren't messed up and the coral didn't hurt you. Maybe just add a platform and it'll be good

Like make the heath bars lower to fit the less amount of damage the normal weapons do, make the Cala Maria fight have platforms at the end you have to jump on to avoid the bottom coral, make the bottom floors in general have an actual floor so it doesn’t look like the characters are flying (except for the cow fight. That one it’d be cool to have a gimmick where you have to constantly run to the left similar to that dominos boss), and make some attacks work like Cala Maria’s stone gaze or Djimmi’s Puppethead phase

I'd say the hardest are Dr Kahl's Robot due to the amount of bullets onscreen, Djimmi the Great for the same reason, and Wally Warbles due to limited space in the last phase
The hilda berg fight looks like it could work as a regular fight. Just add a platform at the bottom and make the the background slowly pass by. Like grim matchstick’s screen scrolling. But just keep the platform in the same place. But still, it looks cool.
Edit:all of them actually look like they could be a regular battle. Just for some of them add moving platforms like grim matchstick’s side scroller/moving clouds. And that’s it.

I find it crazy that after you beat Esther's first phase, you've pretty much won.
It is possible to death Maria
1,get 7 with chalice
2,Don’t take any damage into the last phase
3,Get as many of those heart supers as possible (I don’t know if you can have more at one time if not keep super meter filled)
4,use the most damaging weapons like round a bout or the purple ball one
5,When on the last phase after ever time you take damage do a double jump to avoid seconds of taking damage again while doing damage
Get 7 what? Heart? If so its impossible,chalice cant wear any charms,and there isnt enough shield pals for it

It's funny seeing that the robot uses a magnet, when Ms Chalice is not even using her plane lmao.
It's interesting to see some of the stuff that breaks if you don't have the plane. I can understand why stuff like Djimmi scanning you breaks, but I'm curious why some projectiles just stop at the edge of the screen
I’d imagine it’s something to do with the code accounting for the plane moving along the screen. Since you’re just standing on the floor the game does t count this as moving forward so the bullets just stay till they disappear, which would normally happen off screen. Idk just an idea
My Guess is that this always happens, just out of bounds of the game vision
Plane fights have much larger field of view, and many more bullets, perhaps the way the game process some of them is different than normal fights,
Making then continuously go in the out of bounds area, but since there are walls with the normal battle they just hit it and get stuck

I was expecting you would have to run with the movement as if you were on a plane. But this is still good.
So I came back with a new criticism on the video (which no one needs, but I will write):
0:00 - 2:31 This and the rest of the bosses for the plane - passed in the guise of one of the three mugs) The battle with this boss dragged on, but it's not complicated.
