RWBY Leitmotifs - The Hound

Starting off this new batch of leitmotif videos with The Hound, which is probably my favourite of the Volume 8 additions. It's just so freaking cool man.
Some may have noticed already, but this theme borrows some of Salem's ostinato (AKA her other theme that's not Divide). The Hound is her pet, after all :D

Man I love the Hound musically. I just wish they leaned a bit more into the horror aspect of it. They did it with an equally terrifying concept in the Apathy. The twisting of the "body is weak and unbreakable" part made it almost perfect.

I love that they used the horns like from the nuckelavee theme (most notably at 1:38) and the chaotic strings like from the apathy chase (at 5:43). Really builds that horror tension musically

It should have been criminal for RT to completely underutilize this Grimm. Like, we get introduced to him, he gets maybe 9 minutes of screen presence or less, then dies. Could have and should have been the reoccurring pet of Salem.
