Not sure if this was suggested, but I used to work in a women’s domestic violence shelter and the kids that would come in would love these projects/things!

O ageee , half of stuff ends up in charity shops that the staff get the pick of the stuff before they put them out well that’s what happens in the uk , there’s plenty of places that get forgotten about
Good way to keep the kids busy with a contained craft while they do paperwork too.
I was in a women's shelter at one point in my life and I can say for a fact that donations were literally the only thing a lot of us had to look forward to because when you show up at the shelter you either have just the clothes on your back or if you were lucky like myself I got out with a backpack for myself and my daughter.

Besides an elementary school, you could also donate some of those items to a local library. The children's librarian would love to have things like that for arts and crafts activities. 🙂
Also Nursing Homes or places like that do parties for the holidays.

also a psychiatric hospital. ive been in one for 10 weeks and anything you can use for crafts would be excellent. it's patients who end up buying stuff in because the budgets just dont cover arts/crafts
Nursing homes and retirement centers are great places to take stuff too! Many of them do craft time and these are just the kind of things they use.
I was just going to suggest that also- I worked in LTC/subacute nursing home/rehab during Covid and the patients were so lonely, couldn’t even come into dining room, had to stay in their own rooms-nursing and activities did as much as possible, but it still wasn’t a full day of keeping them busy or activities together- these little kinds of things literally were life savers-the morale boost of having something to keep them entertained through the day truly made a big difference

Funny thing is, I work for Michael's for 19 years now. As someone who has put many of these boxes together, it's kinda fun to watch reactions. I feel bad for some who got the Christmas boxes this year from my store because we had mass amount of lobster and sloth ornaments so all the boxes got handfuls of them in there. Thanks for this video it was a pleasure to watch.

Maybe a children’s hospital? Or a psych ward. Maybe? They may not accept it but I know many people forget that Psych wards do have some children in them that are still kids even though they’re different.

I work as a recreation therapist in a Long Term Care home for seniors… these boxes are a recreation departments dream!!!!! So many fun things for crafts, programs and events!
i think the magnet drawer is supposed to go onto your fridge or maybe a magnet board so you can put things in it, quite cute! but definitely something id knock off the fridge constantly lmao
it’s part of a craft storage carousel. There’s usually 6 of them which fit inside the lower half with pen pot type storage on top. The magnet is to keep the drawer secure inside the unit so it doesn’t fall out when you spin it. I only know this cos I’ve got one on my craft desk x

The plates are also hood for crafting, pouring paints and glue on them. The large signs can be redone, point over it and write BEWARE and use it for Halloween
The red heart glass bottles you can use a Cricut or puffy paint and write Vampire Blood and display it for Halloween as well.

Any stuff you don't want, see if the activities department at a nearby nursing home wants it. Of course they re-use decorations, but they have a small budget for crafts and such and can always use stuff
I find that a complete score finding paper plates and napkins, at least it’s useful right. A lot of people use those table cloths to make those giant candies, they use the tablecloth as the wrapper.

I worked with Big Brothers Bog Sisters for many years as a volunteer and this is the kind of stuff we always like doing with our kiddos. You could always see if your local one is interested in any of the diys and decor to use for parties for next year :)

The difference between clovers and shamrocks ☘ is that clovers 🍀 are a very small ground cover plant with 3 or rarely 4 round leaves on a stem. Shamrocks are larger and taller plants with 3 heart shapes attached in the same leaf with 1 stem. Shamrocks come out of dormant state in late winter and 🍀clovers in late spring or early summer. Shamrocks go dormant after about 1 or 2 months while clovers stay alive till winter.

I totally agreed about glitter needing to be encapsulated.
Loose glitter is like the herpes of arts and crafts, it spreads around easily, no one wants it and it is almost impossible to get rid of.
If you don't donate those art kits to a school, if you have a VA hospital near you a lot of them accept donations for patients! I know some of the kits may seem "childish" but a lot of veterans love simple, straightforward craft kits for art therapy!!

Shamrock and clover is the same thing, but traditionally a clover would have 3 leaves to be considered a shamrock. The word shamrock just comes from the Irish word for little clover :)

You can donate all the clover stuff to the Girl Scouts. The trefoil (clover) is their symbol. The other things you can donate to a Sunday school class or a school.

Bunny! Those aren't clovers, they're shamrocks! Well as an Irish person I'd consider them shamrocks cause shamrocks are closely related to St patrick and St patrick's day. Although I do think they're the same thing? I can't remember 😂

The bakers twine is great for Christmas and the heart confetti can be used on your nails. Also the paper plates and napkins can be used for personal use if you do not want to do dishes 🤣
