You don't have to wait for the actual National Day Parade (NDP) to enjoy stunning fireworks. Fireworks displays can be seen at NDP rehearsals, National Education (NE) shows, and previews, held weekly until August 3. For example, there is a preview happening on July 27. While not every show guarantees fireworks, they typically occur around 8 PM on the scheduled dates. To catch the best views, consider heading to popular spots like Gardens by the Bay East, the Esplanade, The Promontory, or Helix Bridge. These areas can get crowded, so arriving early is recommended. Apart from the main event on August 9, fireworks can also be enjoyed during the NDP rehearsals on June 15, 22, and 29, as well as the NE shows on July 6, 13, and 20. The NDP previews on July 27 and August 3 also offer a chance to see the fireworks. Typically, the main fireworks display starts at 8:15 PM, preceded by various events such as the Red Lions at 6:10 PM, a jet plane and flag flypast at 6:45 PM, a defense display at 7:15 PM, and an initial round of fireworks at 7:30 PM.
