@hannahrose8175 haha, sorry I know it can't be easy with the accents and the slang. "Mighty" is one of those words that Irish people use to say something is great. It's maybe more common in rural areas, or specific regions, I'm not sure. Its the old soft "t" thing being exaggerated.

@elliotw.888 Irish people tend to pronounce words ending in a "t" with a soft t sound. If you listen to an Irish person saying, for example, float, bat, right, or indeed might you will hear that it doesn't sound like a hard t that an English person might typically use. It becomes almost a "sh" sound. So mighty ends up sounding like mishey (or maybe phonetically my-she). To be fair, mishey is a pretty good way of writing how it sounds.

No. Colm is Irish not English. Callum is an English variation.
Gaelic is not Irish. Irish (Gaeilge) belongs to the Gaelic (Goidelic) subfamily of Celtic languages alongside Scottish Gaelic.
Gaelic is a language family, Scottish Gaelic is a language and is not pronounced the way it was said here. If Gaelic said here is Gay-lick then Scottish Gaelic is Gah-lick and Gaeilge is Gwell-geh.

I'll share my theory about the movie with you happily. I'll bet you anything that this film is about the romance between Mark O'Toole and Paul Rutherford during Frankie Goes To Hollywood days. When Rutherford was unhappy about being cast as second fiddle to Holly Johnson, who he always detest and O'Toole, who was in the closet shared that feeling so they found each other very quickly. You can see in the old footages that they were very fond of each other and only cared about each other. Which wouldn't have been a problem, but they were very unprofessional even during concerts and TV appearances because they couldn't control themselves. I think their behaviour must have been very disturbing for Holly and led him to quit and the split of the band. I think they're still in a relationship with the blessing of Mark and Paul's 'partners', who I think appear as Adam's parents in the movie.
