Honestly, this is my favorite style of battle report. Instead of getting bogged down in rules the audience may be unfamiliar with, you create a narrative that’s way more engaging
That was the goal, so that's the highest praise :) I am going to workshop it a bit, but I like the way it ended up.
Hell ya dude. I remember a few months ago you said you were going to do some fallout stuff again. Happy it's happened and that didn't fall off the wayside. Would love a series of these short reports with a bit of the settlement mode mixed in

this is kind of an ideal bat rep for when i am trying to not learn a game's nuances. I would appreciate more such narrative reports for a variety of systems. It really helps sell the story of the game. Yeah it went one way or the other, but spinning it as an event that happened really elevates the experience.
Fun report. Yeah super mutants want a couple big guns to cover the assault. A missile launcher or mini gun maybe. Use that high strength score!

@@2Tough yeah I play very similar to you keeping things mostly wysiwyg. Modiphius sells some super mutants with big guns and if you 3d print Vermillion minis has some good prints of older fallout enemies including super mutants with a variety of big guns. Hope to see more fallout content from you!

Glad you enjoyed it! It does, and I'm thinking of doing that in future videos. They have narrative story campaigns, and also more open ended ones where its about building up a settlement

Great paint, terrain and voice work, your pacing is on point the only drawback is I dont have people to play with in my area, we do the ttrpg right now. The music is a nice touch as well. good stuff! Okey Doke!

I'm totally here for this! I'd love to see you do something similar with other game systems. You could do Warcry, Conquest First Blood, or Carnavale if you want to be spicy. The only thing I'd like to see you do to improve the format of these going forward is that if these are meant to be "narritive", I want there to be a little bit more narritive fluff for the models participating in the fight. Even if you just give the commander of each force a name, I'd be ok with that.

How do you feel about the ruleset itself? It feels a little daunting.
I really get that. It's a wonderfully simple game if you play something like I did, base dudes with common weapons. Its when you start adding on rules that is gets messy.
