Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. We really need help to survive in this Economy. More appropriately, rich nations have always gambled with the global economy to enrich themselves and, economically colonise and control developing nations. It's inaccurate of Gravitas to attribute the energy prices, inflation and the downtrend in the global economy to the Ukraine war. It's more accurate to attribute it to the deliberate economic sanctions imposed by the US, G7 and the EU to further their geopolitical interests in subduing a defiant Russia. In the process these countries have chosen to punish and rob the aspirations of over 6 billion people who have little interest in the results of the war in Europe and, neither does it benefit those Europeans whose leaders doggedly support the war. This is a classic example of overuse and abuse of the clout of the G7 despite the unwarranted collateral damage into the near future of the 6 billion of others. The UN too chose to play it's part in aiding and abetting the drivers of the global economy in this massacre. WWI and WWII are not really the world at war but the privilege accorded to these so called developed, civilised and democratic nations to ensure that everybody in this world pays a price for their excesses. This tyranny of the US, NATO, G7 and the EU needs to end for the peaceful nations of the world to achieve their aspirations.

I live in Belgium. Belgium is divided in three parts but two main parts: Flanders (Dutch) & Wallon (French) speaking.
You also have a little part of German spearking people in Wallon.
We in Belgium have 7 parliaments (but I'm not going into detail).
The most important one is the Federal government. 50% of the seats is for Wallon, 50% of the seats for Flanders, but Flanders has 60% of the population.
In Flanders, most people vote right.
Our federal government is a central left government. The Wallon government forbids it to speak with a party is it's "too right" for them & forces to make a central left government.
Also, we have around 14 mayor parties in Belgium (7 in Flanders, 7 in Wallon). You can only vote on parties from your region.
When we were voting, in Flanders the "winner"party had around 24% votes (so 12% seats), the second party around 22% votes. All other parties had a lot less votes.
Both biggest parties are not in the federal government.
Why? Because you need 50% of the seats & 4 smaller parties joined together after the results to they get the "minister" spots.
      Talking about a democratic system.

How about we switch from USD to a shared global currency for international trade?
Why is it that the US can print dollars as they see fit without asking any other country?
Edit: The United States dollar was established as the world's foremost reserve currency by the Bretton Woods Agreement of 1944.
At the time, Britain proposed a global trade currency instead.
But, the US had the possession of most of the developed world's gold reserves because of the world wars. There were other factors as well. So, the USD became the defacto world trade currency.

Nobody is forcing the dollar on other countries. While it is a mix of many things, the US military being able to defend its territory at any cost, gives it the so called "safe haven". Additionally, the neutrality of the judiciary to protect investments also place a role. This is the same reason why the Swiss Franc is worth so much. Both Switzerland and US produce, consume a lot as well. China could fit there if they were not bent on ideology. Russia does not fit since it does not produce much consumer goods nor is its judiciary neutral. Same with India. Not to mention, China, India and Russia do not allow international trade in Rupees without conditions.

    • @SolomonSunder
      @SolomonSunder Год назад

@@dipakshah1479 The US does not force any country to between themselves in US dollars. For example both India and China will not want to trade in Rupees or Yuan and both want the dollar by themselves. The SWIFT is a payment mechanism and is run by Belgium and not the US. It can transfer any currency. Has nothing to do with the dollar. India has its own version of SWIFT called SFMS. So yes, if India convinced enough countries to use the SFMS, the sanctions would be useless. However, countries find the US to be more fair than India, India does not promote it and hence nobody uses the SFMS. As for sanctions, we also did one to Nepal recently. So we are no different in that sense.

How would we get a sun and the planets to be lit. If we were putting a mobile with the sun in the center. Lighting the planets in the ceiling arch ? . ?
The sun passes over and shines into focal lenses and those things light up.. no. I'm thinking simple.. 8 faces on each of the circumferential rings/ bands.. and each of them each shoot to a unified set of points all the time, the 8 at each band, over the dome..
It would look good and sparkle from the outside and look very impressive for miles.. like a top emerald cut of some kind, and the underside be focal titts or nipples .. clear see through sections within the dome. As bricks would be? Herring bone or other patterns as seen from the outside, looking upon the dome.. and the inside side the stars and those stars being the lense that focuses into the central sun or moon?
    Variations on the theme?
Even the tips of the sun could be shined down into the tip, and the frosted glass glows?
Different colors being infuse into the white glow over the day..
    ... ?
Sorry.. I'm getting too thoughtful into it, there are many ways..
How about enough recycled glass options and such.
.. even the stars light up the face of it and against the gold or silver or other metals or crystals that ring the 🌟.. a central beam collector divot on the back and focusing to the diffuser reflective facts mirrors angles ? Like those short telescopes but to light up the stars more so under the darker backround of the dome.. .. OK, I'm not able to keep my mind on it without thinking also of constellations and such.. lol.. I apparently have been thinking about it too long.. I'm tired. Lol
At the least I have thought and said that those glass and glass bricks should be used and some of the women are to settle on the design and function.. and I'm not sure , but I think a magneticly coupled radiometer with really good balance and low friction could move various pieces , with mirrors and such, like one of those kookoo clocks things..
Ought to be a fun art and design thing.

There is an insurmountable imbalance. That needs to be remedied. Lot of the young and developing countries, even India, China, South Africa, Russia, Brazil, South American nations, should reduce the exhirbitantly high interest rates.
As to the current high Oil price, this will reflect as huge payment deficits for most nations; they are having to pay beyond their means.
The world is awkwardly polarised...For survival, all the major economies will need to help out, to prosper growth wherever possible, and feed the world.

I am not a economist nor Harvard returned doctorate, one out of millions and millions aamjanta. With my limited knowledge what I have understood here , I like to share with you. Recession and inflation of economy is a natural phenomena like atmospheric weather uncertainty nobody can alter it except predict and take a precautionary measures. It is true for country as well as individuals. Yes, in that precarious condition also has become a opportune for few global economically powerful countries, as they are having multiple avenues to alter the global recession to a opportunity for them. In this regard USA is number one, prolong Russia Ukraine war has given the extra benefits to expand their defense security market. Entire Europe scaring of Russian aggression , increasing their defense stock piles, are purchasing huge arms, ammunition, tanks, fighters what not. So actually they usa is the main culprits for world recession but it is not a end of game, future will say who are actually gainer for coronavirus pandemic and war. Though for the time being it seems USA is most gainer but my sense tells otherwise. Once geopolitics to be understood by other nations clearly then their next movement may crash the monopoly duopoly of few countries who dominate world economies from the back. We the individual only have to learn how we can save guards our Interests. Thanks.

The world had been having very good time with very low or near zero interest rate for a very long time and it is over. The low interest is the cause of high inflation and overpriced asset prices . The oil price should be at least $150 per barrel . A cup of coffee cost more than a liter of petrol and people keep complaining about oil . These zero percent interest rate caused many retired people to live impoverished life in many countries . There is nothing imprudent about raising interest rate , should have been done much earlier .The interest rate is still under 4 percent and most of the people have never seen 20% interest rate of eighties . Consider yourself lucky and stop complaining .The things will only get worse for most countries due to deglobalization .

The more he thought about it, the odds of it happening had to be more than 10,000 to 1 and even 100,000 to 1. People often threw around the chances of something happening as being 1,000,000 to 1 as an exaggeration of an unlikely event, but he could see that they may actually be accurate in this situation. Whatever the odds of it happening, he knew they were big. What he didn't know was whether this happening was lucky or unlucky.

its not, because the US is trying fix inflation in its own borders which is a US issue the problem is that the rest of the world is also having issues due to covid lockdowns and the war in Ukraine and because the world is attached to the US dollar for trade the rest of the world is feeling the effects the real issue tho is that whole world is having simular issues at the same time so normally if this happened in the US it wouldnt really effect the world to much but due to the fact that the world is having issues to its like piling on more issues and changing the worlds currency to another country wouldnt work either because itll just be more of the samething since the world is having issues and doing it on stand alone currencies would also be an issue as countries can lie and say they are richer then what they actually are since there wouldnt be any way to compare or other countries will not see another countries currency as valid which will create more issues. unfortunately we just have to get thru this and eventually bounce back in a few years. this isnt the first time this has happened to the world if they can live thru it so can we.
