This is what I needed to hear today as a person in my 20s with BPD. It’s such a difficult thing to navigate and it’s extremely hard to change and better yourself, all while trying to navigate through life and relationships and hardships. This gives me hope that it does get better with time and effort and I can’t wait to see Malibu grow up within such a beautiful family. We all love you Trish and we want you to know how seen and heard and absolutely loved you are!

You get it! Let's keep our fingers crossed for her and all of us dealing with mental illness. It's a long road back to what some say is normalcy. It is hard but doable if we really search deep for it. 👍🥂🌹☮🤞🏼

Same, and I really hope you find it in yourself to be proud of your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem.
I have various mental illnesses and disorders and was misdiagnosed several times or straight up told to 'just get it together' by one of my parents *and* multiple therapists/psychiatrists. I treated my family, friends & exes in ways that were never intentionally toxic, I just couldn't understand my brain and why it flipped so fast from content to depressed, depressed to angry, and so on.
I believe everyone deserves a second chance though, particularly those who didn't have all the answers before as to why they're behaving in certain ways, and seeing Trisha stay out of drama, be a fantastic mom to Malibu & live more peacefully gives me a hell of a lot of hope too. Hugs to you.

This is the video everyone wanted. A sit down ‘story time’ but candid and emotive. All the things I thought you were deep down, I finally see. Trisha, you have done well. It’s true, others can’t save you. If you don’t put in the work, it won’t happen.
I’m glad you’re still here and are finally at peace. Your story resonates with me and will with many others. I am not a very teary person but yeah, crying some here!
I think I may look into meditation. Thank-you xoxo

I feel like I've known you my forever, you were the first RUclipsr I ever watched when I was younger. I'm 19 now. I never was close with my mom, never had a sister, so I almost found comfort in you. You were older, beautiful, funny etc... you were my idol. You gave me a friend, I always felt alone. I watched you go through so many trials and tribulations and it taught me a lot, I always wished I could just give you a hug! Watching you become your true self, mature and all is genuinely so riveting to see. I stuck around and I'm glad I did. You're amazing trishy.. and you really have become a wonderful wife and mom. I hope you continue to feel loved and appreciated for many years to come!

Awe thank you for sharing your journey with us hun. I've been following you for yeeears and I feel like I've went through the bad stuff with you in my own life. I've started over SO many times and failed SO many times but in 2019 I started my spiritual/self love journey and life is soo unbelievably wonderful. I told myself that I will "fake it til I make it" and that I give main character vibes with my story and I will help others one day. I am a fixer but I've always tried fixing broken people who needed to fix themselves. Now I help single moms and their kids get back on their feet and back into the world. I found a beautiful and healthy outlet for my "fixer" mentality that doesn't get me hurt. Sending so much love and big warm hugs of strength to anyone thats just having a tough go.

I started my full blown addiction because of untreated depression and Postpartum. You just give me hope. Because this world as you know is scary and we think we are so alone but in reality if we look within .. and love ourselves first.. good things will happen. I’m not there yet but I’m a lot better than I was. My lowest involved many drugs with letters as names … but now I’m just thankful to be sober.. one day at a time .. and to hear your journey. People are so quick to say how inspiring and wonderful someone is once they get clean, but never extend an ounce of respect to anyone in active addiction. Trisha, know that no matter what, there are/were people who were rooting for you every step of the way. Kindness goes a long way. And to all of you who made fun of her or hated on her at her lowest, who are now supporters, please hold a mirror to yourself and evaluate why you acted that way. Kindness is EVERYTHING!

Trish this is such an important comment. Make sure you read it. In my heart I felt the need for you to hear these words.
So many people go through adversity, struggle through addiction and battles of self worth etc .. we have to walk ourselves back to the soul children we were meant to be. That Journey moulds us and shapes us into the humans with enough human experience to raise another human. It’s awful, it’s hard to look at, we would change things with the knowledge of hindsight if we could but the fact remains that if we don’t experience those things we don’t have the same perception and perspective on life, creation, and the Divine forces at work. Underneath us at all times, things we can’t see are shifting in and out of place just like plate tectonics forging our path, when plates collide we feel an earthquake but it’s our path forming and out of natural disaster we grow and find our soul tribes. And that’s exactly what happened to you.
You owe nothing to the public, your journey is a gift and watching you grow is a privilege. You know deep down that you are meant to be where you are now. Stay humble and most of all forgive yourself as deep down as you can and don’t long for something you think you lost an innocence of sorts, because without the hardship you would not have landed in the spot you are in now. And where you are now is exactly where you were meant to be. Without loosing innocence you would not have learned how to protect your daughters. You had to learn how to re parent yourself, You are not late you are right on time. Love hard and enjoy the ride. And don’t let others judge from a screen. They know not and you are loved unconditionally by your creator, your husband and your child. Moses is a light worker sent to you , to help guide you, I feel that very strongly. But you’ve done a lot of soul work, give yourself credit. And love. Keep learning, and keep growing.

PSA: you don’t have to look or act a certain way for drugs or alcohol to be a problem for you. It literally doesn’t matter if you use once a year or once every 5 mins, if YOU decide it’s a problem for you then it is. Don’t let anyone tell you different or say “it’s not thaaaaat bad.” You don’t have to be an “addict” to quit. I wish people would stop trying to police the definitions and just support people where they’re at. - coming from someone 4 years alcohol-free and cali-sober.

I don't think I'm necessarily the target audience for this video as I'm a 16 year old girl. But let me just say I'm so glad I watched this video. It really highlights how the "party life" is just glamorous from afar. As soon as one gets close, there's a whole host of issues. Also, it's weird how Western media has essentially villainized wanting a family and children through subliminal messaging. Having a child really puts life into perspective and shifts the lens from you to someone else. Not to say you should ignore your needs. I just mean that many times, serving others makes you feel better than only always serving yourself. This video served as a friendly but serious reminder that we need to focus on the important stuff. Fame, money, drugs, boyfriends all come and go. But your mental peace, family and the little boring things matter the most. I have never watched Trisha as she was tumultuous. I like your insight:)
Yes, make no mistake: there aren't a whole lot of people who chose to not have a family that is still glad they made that decision in old age. I mean... careers and the friends you had at 30 doesn't matter as much when you're older. Friends are wonderful ofc, but they get their own families and those relationships are diminished. In the end, you're the childless, most likely lonelier person who dies alone (wow I'm being really cheerful😂)
Why? Because we're humans - it's in our very core being to have families, and we are miserable on a very fundamental level without it. It's one of the main things that bring meaning to our existance, and the bedrock to who we are. That does NOT mean we should shame or scare anyone who chooses another path, but honestly - it's probably a more miserable path in the end. It's not controversial (except in the US where literally everything is), it's basically biology and evolution.

So relatable. I had bpd in my 20s and I was so toxiccccc and reactive to different events and people. I’ve mellowed alot in my 30s but when I think about my past I have a lot of guilt towards myself and the people I hurt or had drama with. If I sit and dwell on my past it makes me feel horrible about myself but I’m slowly learning to accept that my past has made me who I am and I can learn from those experiences. Overtime it will be easy to acknowledge your past, accept it and move on to be better. I know I’m prone to certain behaviours with bpd and given certain environments I can be awful, so long as I’m aware of it I can make sure I’m not in situations that could trigger these behaviours.
