And everytime I hear it - takes me back to my childhood days and yet gets me to think very philosophically about life, its purpose and living in general. A true favourite of mine. Earlier days Kannada Film Directors & even Producers were facing shortage of Money for making their movies, but they had 100 percent dedication towards their work, that's why even after so many years of their work, we still like those movies but today Producers have money & added to it the advantage of technology to support them with all these the only thing that the present Kannada Film Industry lacks is dedication. When Telugu & Tamil film industries are doing well, why not Kannada film industry cannot do?.
anand mudhuwathi ,Sorry Tamil and Telugu films are not doing well in quality. In a year they are producing 3 or 4 good movies. But they know how to market even bad movies. Not only Kannada ,totally all languages are producing only poor quality films.

AUM K , Chi Udayashankar. He is no more. He was a lyricist, story writer, Dialogues writer and script writer. He was right hand to Raj. Raj always used to take his opinion before signing a movie. Also most of the directors and music directors wanted Chi Udayashankar to write songs for their films. Because he was always conveying wonderful messages with very simple and lilting words. His lyrics have always added value to tunes set by music directors. His contribution to Kannada film land is equal to that of Raj and great director Puttanna kanagal.
