Your getting asked a lot because the boost gauge is only on the 17s and up. I have a 15. I love your car my man, fast little thing. If you ever get sometime, I’d like to know what all you have done to it.
Trey Lewis Thanks. Mine is a 16 and has the boost gauge, so looks like its available on 16 and up models. I have the ZZP stage 1 and Mishimoto IC upgrade kit on it.
@@cameronmillwood572 you may have to go to the center gauge screen, go to settings or information, and make sure boost gauge is checked off so that it will show up as you scroll through. The idea behind it is that you can hide certain things you don’t really care about from showing up as you go through everything. Guessing it’s just not selected.
I wonder if it is based on the trim level of the ATS. I have a Luxury trim and do not have the boost gauge as part of my DIC. Maybe it's performance and premium level only?
Ya I was curious about that tune was it difficult to install? I’m not worth a shit with computers. I have most of zzp aftermarket boltons for motor than went with the diablo trinity plug and play. It does ok but I know I could get more boost with that zzp
@@isaaclucero8557 For ZZP, it requires a lap top as they use HP tuners. I have HP tuners so I was able to data log and send in that info. The tuner then reviews it and adjusts the tune as needed. Makes a big difference in performance. Best part is, the tune will be specific to your mods. I have other videos showing the performance gains.
v8pontiacvent hey thanks for this info I’ll check out more of your channel l. One more question Have u had any block or compression issues with your new tune?I’ve been skeptical to turn things up because all the shit I hear about owners blowing rings and cracked pistons on a stock turbo with mods.
@@isaaclucero8557 Mine is a 2016 & as I understand, these were better blocks. I only have 7,700 miles on it. I did buy it new and modded it with 500 miles on the odometer. All is good but I strongly recommend to data log and send to ZZP so they can dial in the tune properly. The generic tune works ok but was over fueling on the top end. After they corrected this, car gained about 5 mph in the 1/4 and dropped from 13.2 to 12.6. Also. when I do track this car, I top it with 101 Octane, add 1 extra quart of oil & tune the fans to come on at lower engine temps. This prevents the engine from pinging, provides extra lubrication & draws in cool air for the intercooler when you run it hard - It's in the owners manual (Page 218) under the "Track Events & Competitive Driving" section for the 2.0 LTG.
Really wish they had this option for the '13 ATS.
You answered my question
Same bro 😢
2015 here and don’t have the option but it’s boosted so idk
It's not on the 14ATS Turbo either! =(

Anybody with a 15' that know how to put the boost gauge?

It might be the year not the trim level of the vehicle. This one is a 2016.
@@v8pontiacvent Turns out mine had the boost gauge after all. My ATS is a 2016
NIce!
Is it okay if it shows 0
is there a software update. I have a 14
Not that I'm aware of.
What year is your Cadillac mines is a 2015 an does not show that option
It's a 2016
I got a 2017 and i don’t got this
@@v8pontiacvent😢
How much boost are these stock?
It varied between 12~16 psi depending on what gear it was in. After the ZZP retune, it holds a steady 20 psi once it hits boost.
What is this for? Does this makes the car more fast or what? Can somebody explain it to me please?
@@ARMA-89 It is showing how much boost(psi) the turbo charger is outputting at any given time.
This must be year specific
What year is yet?
2016
@@v8pontiacvent mines a 2015, can mine do that display...
@@eddiesoto8413 I'm not sure. Some people here in the comments say yes but You'd have to check to see if you have the option.

I don’t think this is the 2.0t
Hey what’s up I have a 14 ats and that is something I wish mine had have u done any adjustments to your turbo? Does it even allow you to do so?
I have the car tuned with the ZZP stage kit. It increased the boost substantially over stock
