How on earth did you know my name is Colin? Some people think that you have to take the pump off to do this, well you don't. Great video, took me about ten minutes to complete the job, and saved at least £50 call out! The new part cost eleven odd pounds plus the dreaded VAT. Really not worth trying to service the old one! Hi Mark, please could you advise. I have a Potterton Powermax HE 85. The pump is product code 5106286. I was wondering if the pump in your video can be used in my boiler, product code 7722642. Apparently it is a newer ERP model that can be used as a replacement?

wouldnt recomend shutting the valaves of on older boilers as they can start to leak and will then need replaced heating engineer hear
