he, dale and their family moved to little desert town in southern california. we went to the same church, watched him bowl in a league, saw him changing oil in his car in a parking lot. they went through a lot of heart ache in their lives and brought so much love to the world. ❤️

Such an amazing story of little Russell Rogers who was so ill in the hospital that the doctors did not expect him to leave hospital until Roy Rogers spoke to him. Well done Roy Sir.

I knew about Roy's previous wife. How heartbreaking for him to lose her this way. I'm glad that he would fine love again with Dale Evans. They're both treasures.

Pat Brady actually starred with Roy Rogers on "The Roy Rogers Show" playing a fictional version of himself. He was the comic relief on the show.

I was watching a clip of Roy on the Dave Letterman show and he told the pie story, or one of his singing members did. It was great (for me) to see Hugh & Karl Farr show up. They could really swing when they wanted to!

Roy Rogers was a name I heard of as a kid here and there and occasionally a cowboy tv show would have a western movie playing on tv with John Wayne and other actors . By the time I got to see them as a kid on TV they were already Legends of television movie stars that just didn't seem real to me at the time when I was a child other than seeing them on TV Legends of tv and movies to me as a kid were movie stars and as such these people would only show up on television and never in real life that's what made them Legends to me as a kid like things we hear that live in Faraway jungles and far away Islands someplace in the world little did I know at the time I was surrounded by all the environment these actors and cowboys of the 50s and 60s had made their motion picture histories and lives in the environment I was in with views of woodland hills Malibu and the beautiful scenic sites a rock formations in Chatsworth CA . I was the child of a single parent would never have the time to understand the history of the area she brought me to to grow up as a child it wasn't until I was in my late 40s from watching RUclips channels and finally realizing the reality of all the motion picture history that was just at my feet from the beautiful scenic views of the mountains of Chatsworth CA to the views of the beautiful Santa Monica mountains and beautiful and exciting Pacific Ocean. This was a wonderful look into Roy Rogers life story truth be told. Sincerely
    Joey T ⚓

Roy Rogers and Dale Evans were such great people! back when morals meant something! These people were great people, and they actually made a difference! Woke generation is so fake!

Yes, they were great and loved by all. Why the injection of fake politics. Everyone wasn't nice back then and life wasn't good for everyone. The 1950s were the height of the Cold War and Jim Crow Era. But I guess it was paradise to you.
