Crying rn, after being raised in abuse and being engaged for 4 years to a man who made me feel worthless and then being with someone who I drove accross the country to be with that just used me its been hard to believe that men can actually feel this way about women. Believing and trusting that men can actually love and respect and want a women so strongly has evaded me for my entire life up until recently with NA rehab and therapy. Songs like this make me cry with hope and understanding that one day someones going to look at me and want to respect me and love me- not just use me and hit me or abandon me again. Been playing this song on repeat all day
