- WE'RE BACK FOR PART 2 OF MY SUMMER WORKOUTS SERIES! Last week you saw a glimpse of what our training sessions look like Monday through Wednesday. In this video you’ll see our training routine for Thursday and Friday. This is what our weekly schedule looks like for the four weeks of summer workouts we have prior to preseason. I'm swim for one of the top D3 schools and its so interesting to see other sports practice! I genuinely thought soccer was just playing soccer scrimmages, lifting, and drills.

hi Sindhu! our workouts vary in length depending on the day but I would say 1-2 hours (including warm ups & cool downs) & we train 5 days a week😌
You should include the times that you guys are running at! i’m getting ready for my freshman year track and i think that would be so helpful
i have mentioned an estimate of our times in other comments, so you can reference those! i typically don't share too many specifics regarding our workouts, as everyone's fitness levels and goals are vastly different🙂 xx

Any tips on how to run 12 minutes without any stops? I’m not doing the 12 minutes this year because I’m in a wheelchair. But I need some help on how to do it in 2022 😆
I watching this cause i play soccer and I have a really awful team we don't even train and i enjoy watching these videos because it makes me think i will have a team like this and I'm 14 like wtf I'm still in a lower stage to play D1 soccer lol but ur team and u are like 💣

How many times did you do the Friday competition workout, I really wanna try it lol
each video in the series was a different Friday of competitions! so we only did each workout once, but we had 4 weeks worth of competitions🙂
Love the video! I was wondering for the 400’s if you had to get it in a certain time and if so how much time (and what was your rest time in between). Love watching your videos :)
yes, every set had a different time we had to make each rep! i’m honestly not too sure what each one was though, sorry!😕
we had 8-10 minutes in between each set though! so we ran 4-5 400s and after those we had 8-10 mins of rest before starting the next set of 4!
When it said competition day I thought you meant a meet I was like WHY ARE U WORKING OUT😭
these were summer workouts before our season began, so competition days were just between our team😌 (& we play soccer, not track)
What pace were y’all setting for these? Gives me serious flashbacks of hell 😂
i can’t remember 100% but I believe the first set we had 90 seconds & the second/third set we had 85 seconds to complete the 400. after each set (of 4-5) we had 8-10 mins of rest.
I had summer workouts for volleyball and let me tell you i was on the verge of an asthma attack and i don't even have asthma lmaoooo 😂😂
trying to catch your breath can be a real challenge 😭😭

Will you please tell me what are the endurance workout y’all did ? ( how many set and reps and what are the rest time between each set ) I would like to give it ago. Im also soccer player.
we did 3 sets total. the first set was 5 reps, the second was 4 and the last set was 3 400s. in between each set we had 8-10 minutes of rest! hope that helps😌

yes! we had 2 days off throughout the week during the summer😌

hi vivian! to answer your question, it really depends on the season we are in. during the fall, we have training every morning, classes right after that, and then school work/a job later in the evening. aside from all of that, we also have games on thursdays and sundays of every week! hope that helps😌

inbetween each 400 did you take a break or do a few nonstop?
we had a short rest after each 400 and then after 4-5 400s we had a longer rest period. so, it was 3 sets total & in between each set was our longer rest period.

Can you pls tell me how you prevent cramps in your side if you get them while running
Lift the top of your nose with your thumb breath out all the way and aggressively breath in through your nose full breath and slowly out of your mouth. It should go away after a few times

@@user-ej1uv5us8p drink a ton of water is a big one, cramps come from being dehydrated. and when you have one while running, don’t let yourself lean to the side that you’re cramping on, makes it worse

not too slow considering we had 12 of them to run🤷🏽♀️ it wouldn’t be reasonable to run 12 400s at top speed each rep
