Climbed to top 1k last season with Roger v2 and g5, definitely didn’t fall off since he counter’s all the blue and black meta really nice. (You have to play him as a defender to win tho)

A good and stacked g5 is very tough to deal with if u dont have the right counter (thankfully his counters arent even good in this meta)

He got good dmg reduction, def and his attacker form is so strong. Moreover, He can attack, get flags and even defend them. He's a W unit but the meta is full of power creeps, So he struggles
A good lucci claps g5 all day. G5 cant even stack his def (although its useless against lucci) and cant heal when fighting lucci. If g5 skills didnt deal enough dmg or get dodged by lucci, its over

For me as a G5 user I believe he is still very good even with his counters mainly because he has all 3 classes
