I just came from the Humble reaction so I knew Eshplume would love this. Murderer already has a bit of a reggae vibe in the original but Ren turns it up a notch in the live performance.

That Snoop Dog, Dre riff was actually sampled from an instrumental piece called “The Edge”, composed by David McCallum back in the 70’s. David McCallum is the British guy who played “Duckie”, the coroner on NCIS 😁
The album was released on the 1.1.67.
I also like the original version of Murderer better, even though I normally prefer his acoustic versions and live music if it's good audio quality in general. I don't know why, I think I just feel the song lyrics go hand in hand with a more hard and punchy presentation.

Love you guys, but I want to put it out there that I might be unsubscribing from both your channels very soon.
Here's why: I personally CRINGE at rating on a scale anyone's creative expression but ESPECIALLY REN'S.
Of course, these are your channels, and I respect your right to do as you wish, but this is not a competition where judging on a scale is required to declare a winner. It is not necessary.
I find it changes the whole vibe of why many of us watch Ren reactions. It is not loving. It is not kind.
On what basis do you give Ren's EXCEPTIONAL performances a NINE? Of course, there is always room for improvement, and Ren continually strives to elevate his craft.
This is only me expressing how I feel. It comes from a place of love (and disappointment), not anger. It just feels arrogant to me. It's a harsh sounding word, I know, but there's no better word to describe it.
Unless those who choose to rate on a scale others' creative works (I include all reaction channels I refuse to watch for this reason) are not only capable of performing on a level like Ren's in every way but also actually doing it themselves, I ask to please refrain from using any kind of rating scale.
Expressing personal opinions and preferences is one thing. A rating scale is an entirely different vibe.
I hope you'll take this under consideration as I do want to continue following your channels.

I agree with you; I know where you are coming from. But, Anthony Ray is MY FAVORITE REACTOR. Mainly, because he LOVES (APPRECIATES [UNDERSTANDS]) Ren's Talent! Eshplume is new and is learning. He should be giving Ren 12's (out of 10). Also, I love this acoustic version!

I LOVE Anthony Ray's reactions and engagement, particularly his playfulness He's one of the few who cause me to laugh, which brightens my day. I learned about him through following Ren reactions and subscribed because of his deep appreciation and respect for Ren's gifts and humanity.
Anthony Ray, to my recollection, has never rated anyone's performance. I felt reluctant to single anyone out, and as the rating has happened on both their channels, hence my potential unsubscribing from both. I just wanted to bring the change in vibe to their awareness.
I emphasize this is my personal preference. I know Eshplume is new to doing reactions and I've no idea as to why he feels inclined to rate creatives' performances, nor is it any of my business. I respect his right to do so. It's just not the vibe I resonate with. I'm sure most followers aren't phased in the least by it.
I do love their vibe together. I think they compliment each other well.
