Honestly don't get why they made it 'realistic' though. The FPE characters are animations/2D beings themselves, so i think it'd make more sense if they saw the 'Mesmerizer' animation as a 'real' footage of something sinister, rather than a fictitious animation.
But considering their teachers have blades for arm i don't think miku getting hypnotized would make Oliver and his gang scared. Maybe abbie and a few others would get scared but that's about it.
