Looks great! A quick suggestion for you. You might want to look into high-strength fishing line for both the gap issue and the transparency of the lines, making them barely visible.
Hey man the metal wires can definitely damage the wings use 50lb fishing wires instead, the clearness of the wires give it an affect like it’s floating use 3 loops one for each wing and one for the front corner tips👍🏾
Thank you, I’m sure you are right. I ended up getting a wall mount from Display Heros and it looks much better. I think jt is showcased in one of my recent videos. Hanging it by fishing wire sounds cool too though.
My waitlist availability came yesterday for the last batch, deposit down so no turning back now! Mines is going up in the air as well however I'm going to try and used the 3 mounting holes on the bottom of the jet. I plan to build a mount that anchors to at least two studs on the wall/ceiling. And then come out from the mount with hopefully some boxed aluminum rods ( not sure on size yet), and have the bottom of the jet mounted on the rods someway. Basically trying to have no wires or any distractions from the top of the jet. Have the jet angled down a little, similar to how you have it, so that the wall mount is harder to see and give the illusion that its actually floating in the air. Maybe you could try using some thick heavy strength fishing line instead of the cables? Might be a little harder to see and bring the wing gaps in. Thanks for the video
Congrats. Mine was only hanging like this a few weeks. I ended up getting a metal arm from Stronghold Displays on Facebook made specifically for this batwing. You can see it in my other room your videos.
I have the same unit and put her up with the “stronghold” mount - can you please zoom in to the monitor in the cockpit and tell me if you have the same “spelling error” - specifically the “A’s”?
After a couple months I ordered the stronghold mount also, I’m pretty happy with it. Mine is hard to access now that it’s up but I’m willing to bet mine is also misspelled unfortunately.
@@JoeysBatcave all good man; I’m being a pain in the ass New Yorker - I still find myself sitting and staring at the batwing; JazzInc knocked the ball out to Mars but I thought it funny that they didn’t catch it in QA - I’m sure this is sitting in some Warner Brothers Exec’s office with the same mis-spelling
You should try using fishing monofilament. It is clear and will be really strong if you use a heavier line. I use it to hang Star Wars spaceships. Sick Batwing though.
im going to get the custom arm for it that was put on his facebook page.. the wires do look interesting, maybe with some black foam tape you could fill in the gaps on the wings!
Looks good! This is what I want to do with mine when I get it. I wish there was a way to use less wires and maybe even smaller wires. I would put it on the wall but I don’t fully trust the legs it comes with. We will see 👍🏻
Thanks. For a few days I had just one hook but it was at a pretty vertical angle. I still want to try and level it out. Depending on the listed strength, I bet thinner wires could be used.
Im sorry but that looks horrible. Why not use fishing line like spiderwire? It's $10 and the results would be night and day. You spent all that money on the toy and yet look at it! Looks like a 5 year old hung it up. I learned about fly fishing lines as a child bro, take that down and redo it the right way THEN make your little video
Thanks man for your honestly I didn’t really like it either. I ended up getting a nice wall mount designed specifically for this batwing. I did a 1 minute room tour in September and it shows the wall mount. It’s pretty legit!!
Criticism is always welcome, but you don’t have to be a jackass. Not everyone grows up in small town USA where kids are taught to fish because there’s nothing else to do. It sounds like your jealous that this guy can afford a 2k toy and you’re left with some fishing wire 😂
I wouldn’t have used a Dremel either, as it would technically ‘damage’ it and with it being a ‘collectible’, it may decrease its value; so I think the gap in the wing is a minor complaint, at best. Going with materials that are overkill is always a good idea, since then you know it will do as intended. As for the idea of weights on the back to level it out, 🤷♂️ that’s a personal choice; I think it the offset-ness of it (all 3 axis’s) gives it a certain flair, as it is supposed to represent it in its actual environment. Which is flight and it does so properly. [imo]
Incredible acquisition!!!!
That's an awesome idea!!
What an awesome piece. Looks great. Good job👍
Looks good! Really wish I had the funds to purchase this one. Great job.

I wrote a comment and didn’t realize u wrote the same thing lol

I have the Batwing and looking to see how to hang it.

Where can I buy one like that it has lights on the wings to. Does it have a lighter cockpit.

@@Yumemaru1your probably more right than you know haha.
The gaps would drive me nuts
Well I don't think k I'll ever be able to buy that and not go bankrupt but that riddler trophy looks affordable and cool, where and how much??? 😬
Looks great brother. Paid for the shipping on mine this morning so it’ll be here in May. I have no idea where I’m going to put it!
Looks great! Congrats

Looks good Joey.
Thanks Peetee!

The cables gonna scratch the resin in time....heavy fischwire is mutch better..to mutch cables my opinum
Looks great my friend, my only concern is the metal wire may eat the resin with time.

Just a suggestion, I would use black tape underneath to at least get rid of the light bleeding through in the gaps.
That is going to cause stress and indents where those wires are on plastic. Wouldn't recommend
Two thousand dollar toy. Lol!
Doesn't look good at all, but at least you helped others decide not to display in a similar way..
