and now look at "gentrified" london..30 yrs later!! the original tenants of these estates had no idea that their complaining about inadequate housing would eventually end up with them being totally cleansed out of london all together! not the result i think they were hoping for!

There was no social cleansing. They bought their flats under right-to-buy and sold them later for a very handsome profit and upped sticks to leafy suburbia or Kent. There is no place in London for racists so it's good they've gone.
