Great video, but Kingston now has only a fraction of the character it had when I was a boy. The choice has gone. There used to be five separate cinemas, four or five butchers, the market sold almost everything from flowers to fish, then there was the Cattle Market, and the Apple Market. Bentalls was a single store, there were three artist's shops, two model shops, you could buy coffee beans to your own mix and have them roasted in front of you!

I agree, moved out in 2021 and by then the town had lost its character. Not even what it was ten years earlier.
